Waffle House — Restaurant in Vicksburg

Worst service ever. Only giving 1 star because there is no option for no stars. We were 1 of 3 tables in the restaurant. Let me start by saying being from California my daughter and I were looking forward to eating at a waffle house since our first ecperience in one a year ago during a visit to Georgia. We wanted my husband to experience it as well. My husband has said if all Waffle Houses are like this one he doesn't want to eat at another one. Waitress was not pleasant at all, bordering on rude. When she brought mine and my daughter's drinks she said she was waiting on the coffee. No problem, until it never came. Half way through our meal my husband mentioned that he never got his coffee. Our waitress was leaning against the counter playing on her phone and had not even looked up in a good long time. I flagged down a gentleman that I'm assuming was a busboy. He asked another waitress and she told him to pour it. He brought the coffee and was gone before I could ask for cream. Other drinks were never refilled. We finished our meal and waited for several minutes for the check that never came. I had to get up and walk over to a group of 4 or 5 employees standing around talking to ask for the check. It was only after one of them called out to our waitress that she looked up from her phone. She came over and rang up our order and I paid. Needless to say her tip was greatly reduced due to the horrible or non existent service. She definitely was not interested in doing her job. I could have almost understood the lack of service if they had been busy but the had at least twice as many employees for the amount of...

I travel a LOT between South Louisiana and Tennessee. I ALWAYS stop at a Waffle House every trip. This morning after driving for eight hours straight through, I stopped at the one in Vicksburg Mississippi on Clay Street. Went inside, sat down, waitress was courteous and prompt, placed my order and while I was waiting, another female employee hollered across the room that I was blocking (HER) turn around area. Now please understand that 👉IF👈I had been blocking ANYTHING and was asked in a professional manner, I WOULD have went back out in the COLD and moved my truck and trailer with my motorcycle strapped down. I parked it where I could keep my eyes on it, considering that setup is over $135,000. I also pointed out that there was AMPLE room (LARGE parking area) for ANYTHING to turn around and/or park, before I got in my truck and LEFT. Most importantly, there was absolutely no need for her to be a loud...

Worse waffle house I been to. Had 2 servers and still had horrible service. 1st they got order wrong, then they got sections of my food very far apart. Coffee was warm and old. Had to call them to my table 6 different times, no spoons, needed coffee 2 times, creamer, salt. They forgot my order 2nd time. Then had to ask and wait for my bacon 3 times. Then i finally get and only 1 piece was cooked, other 2 raw. Never got bill, had to go to register to ask for it. My son had to wait for his sausage. Was there almost 45 minutes, got tired of waiting then stuff raw. Basically just left grease hashbrowns an eggs (he used 3 scoops of butter on eggs) on plate, along with raw meats.
