I don’t like giving bad reviews, but some places earn them without trying. I would like to say that most fast food restaurants deserve a less than 5 star review anymore since prices have risen and quality has declined. This Burger King is no exception. The first thing I noticed was how dirty the restaurant was in the dining room and behind the counter. There is no excuse for that other than the lack of employees which seems to be the biggest problem with this store. That leads to the second problem of the number of people standing in line while the one person behind the counter was busy bagging orders and dealing with Drive-Thru customers. At no point did he acknowledge the people waiting in line with a simple “I will be with you in a moment.” There were self-help kiosks off to the side, but no one should have to use a kiosk to place an order considering the price of fast food. This store suffers from a lack of staffing. It isn’t just this store, but most fast food restaurants are severely understaffed. Considering the high wages being paid for fast food workers in California, there should be people chomping at the bit to work anymore. This leads me to believe that Burger King chooses to be understaffed. So my 9 year old niece for some reason doesn't eat certain things so got her a plain cheeseburger. Hers wasn't in the bag. I was upset and called the restaurant right away. Their tone of voice was pretty upsetting. They said to go back for it. I explained nothing is near by so now I would return while rest of food got cold. They stayed quiet and said if I was returning or not. That got me even more upset. I said I'm not returning today write down my info and did. Didn't ask what item it was so I said arent you even concerned with what was missing and said yes of course. I said a little girl isnt getting her cheeseburger and he again stayed quiet. I asked for a refund for the apple sauce and she said “no.” She stated that the apple sauce was free when it wasn’t it was $2.29. I explain I paid for the apple sauce and she said she can’t do a refund. I asked how can get a refund since I paid she said “ I don’t know, call corporate” To think that was bad enough I asked her for sauce for my first order because I placed 2 Mobil orders and she charged me 25 cents per sauce despite the fact she was already rude about the apple sauce situation and not even offering anything to replace the apple sauce.
