McDonald's — Restaurant in Vidalia

It had been a long day and I realized I hadn't ate. So, I whip into the American "go-to", McDonald's. I order my usual; quarter-pounder with cheese meal except I substitute dehydrated onions over "fresh" onions. For the life of me, I couldn't get the girl to understand what I was requesting! Finally, in aggravation, she instructs me to pull around. With crayons in hand, I'm prepared to draw her a picture. However, she seemed to finally understand once we were face to face. I pull to the next window only to hear (what sounded like) Gordon Ramsey yelling from the kitchen. Before I'm handed my order, I asked the girl to check it for accuracy. She assured me (without checking) it was correct. One glance at the ticket assured me otherwise. The ticket read "onions ONLY". Sure enough, it was onions only. I explained, once again, that I wanted only to SUBSTITUTE and all else would be the same. That really made Chef Ramsey's blood boil! I was instructed to pull forward. Now I'm second-guessing my choice of restaurants. I mean, God only knows what bonus condiment the good Chef is going to add. After about :30 seconds, I'm handed my order and find it's absent my large fries. So, I waited until they realize I haven't pulled away and bring me my fries. I get to my hotel only to find my burger had so many dehydrated onions, it was inedible. Note to self: avoid this McDonald's...

I thought it was closed. The drive thru line did not move for 12 minutes 34 seconds. 4 cars finally pulled off including me. I went inside because I had order on app. There were 2 other customers. So it was not busy but they could not get orders out. I waited another 11 minutes 12 seconds and finally got my food. Ridiculous. 10/0802023 @0743 in the morning, I was refused service at this McDonalds. I live where this unit is and have gone there every Sunday morning for coffee and b'fast muffin. Today I was told I could not bring my outside coffee cup in as I have done for 10 year in every restaurant I go so that my coffee stays hot and my tea or coke or ice water stays cold. I told the maneger they were empty, they were to pour my drinks in to keep hot. She still refused to serve me, so I turned arou d and left. I had done a mobile so not way to cancel my order in the app so, they just got free money. I do not ruled out a bit of racism bias either. I am very disturbed and disappointed about this McDonalds. Will not stop there again.

Update: Do not even stop here. Worse McDonalds ever. Took out the drink area so you can't get refills. I know, I asked and...

The manager that worked May 25th was out of control. She was yelling at some children in a verbally abusive manner from the fry station. When the mother of the kids spoke up and told her to stop yelling at her kids that she had them under control the manager called her a bad parent and said she apparently didn’t. The little boy who appeared to be about 6 or 7 yrs of age slipped off the stool making the red part come up some. The mother fixed it back and reprimanded the child but the manager just kept yelling and yelled at the worker taking the woman’s order to stop taking her order. She was yelling for the woman to leave. The woman told her she was only trying to order food to which the manager screamed at her to leave. The woman pushed the register toward the manager as the manager was still screaming at her. This manager needs to be fired. She is going to yell and verbally abuse the wrong kids and some parent isn’t going to take it at all. I will never go to that...
