I didn't rate this visit because a one would have been overly generous and it was the lowest option. Tonight I was reminded why I stopped eating at this location a long time ago. After years of avoiding this vidor location we tried it again a few weeks ago and everything was surprisingly good. Tonight however was absolutely disgusting! The service was not good, but the biggest problem was you should NEVER EVER try to serve someone on a OBVIOUSLY dirty plate, dried food on the plate and under the plate. I never touch it sent it back, bringing it out yes the waitress shouldn't have, but when you have a general manager (yeah the general manager, I was surprised by that) walking around taking chips out of a guest basket so what if he may have known them. Then according to the waitress she ask him to speak to me about the issue I had, he did NOT. The bus boy ran into my chair multiple times not even so much as excuse me, nothing good happened tonight and I personally believe it is all a reflection of leadership, these people have to feel comfortable treating customers this way. My dissatisfaction with the food, service, cleanliness, rude behavior, in my opinion is a result of inadequate leadership and that is where I put the blame. He had the nerve to say as we were waiting to be seated that he had also stopped eating there because of the dirty, terrible condition of before, what he didn't say is hold my beer while I take it right back to the mess it was before. As I stated in the beginning of this post a few weeks ago ( with this manager NOT there) it was a complete different good experience. Tonight was our last. Read moreUpdate: Morgan is awesome! As I've said before, there are professionals in every field, and Morgan definitely fits the bill. I dined at Casa Ole in Vidor on 3/17/23, and received what was easily the best service I've ever had at this restaurant (which I dine at frequently, out of convenience). Morgan seemed to have a large section, but remained cool, easy-going, and friendly throughout our visit. She had relevant menu recommendations, and was able to delegate when needed, ensuring that we were properly attended to. If you're fortunate enough to have Morgan as your server, leave this girl a big, fat tip! Remember that even though she is amazing, she only makes about $2 per hour without tips.
Note: If a slender, 40-something, bleach-blonde helps you, go sit somewhere else. She won't give you your entire meal, will argue with you about it, and then after you request the menu and show her what you were supposed to receive, will concede and offer to bring it. She doesn't check back often, so you will be about 45 minutes into your dinner at this point. Since you have things to do and don't want to wait 30 minutes for beans, rice, and Avocado, you will decline. She will still charge you for the entire meal. And yes, they do carry Cholula hot sauce. We order our food My son and me got meals with cold plates and low and behold they came at the same time cold plates tacos were soggy no room on table I ask to speak with manager which was sitting in a both in the back doing nothing he came over ask what the problem was I said cold plate and hot plates came at the same time picked up taco and the bottom feel out I said we been needing chips haven't got them he grabs plate says I will fix it the server brings it back still no chips I told the server it wasn't his fault they were ready at the same time he said it actually is my fault it was sitting up there for a few they had this server way over his limit.
