Subway — Restaurant in Vidor

Ordered online pick up was set for 9:05 pulled into the parking lot at 8:55 and 3 employees are just standing behind the counter talking not doing anything at all with the doors locked. They then shouted they was closed but hours of operation are till 10 so why would they be closed? Told them I had a mobile order and how could they close when I had an order placed. They told me they never got an order for me so showed them my receipt and they then magically found my order and said they didn’t know it came in. They then said they had no food so they couldn’t make my sandwiches and that they would have the manager refund it In the morning. Sounds more to me like lazy workers rather than being out of food. This subway is normally good….. today I went to grab lunch and the experience was horrible. The guy making the sandwiches had a hole in his shirt on his chest, his shirt was also very dirty. All the vegetables looked disgusting the spinach was wilting and the lettuce was brown. The bread was severely undercooked, to the point when they pulled it off the toaster pan it was folding. The girl that was putting the vegetables on the sandwiches wrapped mine up before I was done and didn’t say a single word at all just stared at me. The lady ringing people up said that they wouldn’t except the coupon we had when it is a store/district wide coupon. I will not be returning to the subway I will stay with the subways closer to home. Subway prices in general are not ideal, but that isn't somthing that a franchise has much control over. This location however is great. Nice clean store, fast friendly service. The girls that work here know how to make perfectly balanced and aesthetically pleasing looking sandwiches. The last time my husband and I went he got an xlpro and I could not believe the amount on meat that went onto his sandwich. He was more than pleased. I was concerned about being able close the sandwich with the amount of meat that was piled on. He assured me it would be fine. And he was right. My only complaint would be that I wish they would keep the white inner paper on the sandwich when they wrap it in the big subway...
