If you take back poor quality food 10 minutes after getting it in the drive thru they will tell you to call the next day so the GM Kim can issue the refund, when you call Kim may rudely answer the phone and almost instantly imply you’re lying and trying to scam, she will then say she can’t find your order so she can’t issue a refund, for the food you handed back to her employee who then threw it in the trash the night before. When you drive down to the restaurant and again ask for the refund you are owed and promised, this time showing the receipt for the order, Kim will again deny the refund, and if you’re extra lucky, she’ll tell you to leave or she’ll call the cops, because she wouldn’t issue the refund you were promised the night before for food you did not eat. After Kim tells you to leave or she’s calling the police, she might follow you out to your car 5 minutes later to give you some kind of lecture because everyone knows that’s what Taco Bell GMs need to be doing to the customer they refused to issue the refund THEIR EMPLOYEES promised the night before. After you ask her one more time if she’s gonna give you the refund you’re owed, she’ll probably tell you she’s gonna go get it, making the preceding conversations with her irrelevant, and I am not a Taco Bell GM, but I do feel like GM shouldn’t yell and try to lecture a customer simply for asking to get a refund and being unwillingly to just walk away from it. When she comes back out with the refund she’ll tell you again that she’s calling the cops to file a report (a report apparently everyone in the lobby was also signing on to?) and that she had your license plate, she’ll also tell you you’re banned from the location so if you’re favorite thing from Taco Bell is under filled burritos and day old Chalupas, you’re gonna wanna avoid asking...
Read moreWent here on lunch break to grab something quick. Walked in and tried to order from the touchscreen but couldn't find the item I wanted. I would see it was on the main menu behind the counter. The cashier, an older female, was talking to a gentleman about what bills she needed to pay this week with her check the whole time I was ordering and never once offered assistance. I walked over to the counter to order and her friend moved aside but she continued talking to him. I asked for a toasted cheddar chalupa box and was told that item was no longer available. I gestured at the menu and said someone should fix that then and began looking for other choices. She proceeded to lecture me about how its above her paygrade and not part of her job. I tried to start my order and the whole time she is going on and on about how corporate has to change it and there is nothing that can be done. Finally halfway through my order she is still going so I told her I didn't have time to argue with her about and will be going somewhere else. As I walked out the door I heard her say "Well EXCUSE ME!!" Oh no I'm sorry, excuse me for expecting the menu to be accurate. Excuse me for thinking I could get in and out quickly since I have a short lunch break that doesn't allow me time to argue with the person at the register about something I clearly didn't care about and had moved on from. BY THE WAY the McDonalds that was packed down the street had me in and out faster than it probably took for her to explain to her manager...
Read moreJust tried the newly renovated Taco Bell 30 minutes ago. I used the drive-thru this morning on my way to my son's sporting event. I specifically ordered TWICE at the screen because they didn't understand the first time. I ordered $4 worth of food before tax and was told I owed $5.30. When I asked why I was being charged $5.30 at the window for $4.24 worth of food, the worker looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. I had to repeat my order twice more, and step by step. They corrected the order and lied to me about why I was being overcharged. My breakfast burritos had Pico de Gallo on them after I explicitly ordered them without. I took them inside to have it corrected and the line workers tried to make it my fault when it was clearly listed and photographed on the ordering screen. They made me wait for 5 minutes, offered nothing to make up for their problems, and all they did was scrape Pico de Gallo off of 2 already made burritos and left the cheese off. A manager had to be present at this time, but didn't bother to deal with the problem personally. Terrible service, it was much better before...
