My husband and I have been shopping at Sam's Club since 1994. We primarily shop at the one located in Vienna, WV. The current manager, Jared Duley, seems to do a wonderful job. He is friendly and helpful. I needed a new Christmas tree 2 years ago, but they were out of stock of the 7.5 ft. pre-lit tree at my local club. Jared located several at the store in St. Clairsville, Ohio and had one brought to the Vienna store. I was so appreciative, as it was close to Christmas. It really made our holiday a happy one. The tree was beautiful and so easy to put up! The employees have always been friendly and helpful. Many of them remember us every time we come in the store or ask about our other family members if they are not with us! :-) A male employee, who I'm familiar with, but, unfortunately, his name escapes me, (sorry), was very helpful to me on my most recent visit. I was in a hurry, as the store was about to close, but didn't take a cart with me to the back of the store. He radioed for Sue, who has worked there for 27 years. She brought me a cart for my case of water and helped me locate the Temptations cat treats that were out of stock the last time I was in. I really love Sam's Club and have come to depend on the quality merchandise & food items they sell. The store in St. Clairsville, Ohio was invaluable to us in August 2019 and remains so. This was our son's first year at West Liberty University, located just outside of Wheeling, WV. We found everything we needed for his dorm and were able to stock him up with his favorite foods & beverages, and hygiene items. It gave me a peace of mind to know he had plenty of what he needed until we saw him again! The Sam's Club Membership is...
Read moreThis Sam's club profiles its members when they enter the store. If you are dressed nice, they let you pass without showing your card. If you are dressed in a blue collar outfit, they will card you every time.
Aside from their front door prejudice, they also have policies that extend beyond reason and are potentially harmful to the most vulnerable populations.
It is common knowledge that an adult will need to produce an ID to show proof of age when purchasing adult beverages. However Sam's Club will not sell to an responsible adult, who has met the requirement of the law, if they are with other adults. Sam's Club requires that all adults in the group to produce an ID at checkout, even if the other adults are not purchasing adult beverages. To make matters worse, Sam's Club finds it acceptable to sell to adults who have children present without any additional checks. TO BE CLEAR. They will not sell to a group of consenting adults without seeing all ID's, but will sell to adults with children. They blatantly assume that the adults traveling with children will conform to the letter of the law, but that consenting adults will not.
So be prepared to be a criminal in the eye's of Sam' Club from the moment you enter the store until you show your receipt...

The guy in the phone dept. could not answer questions about the Bluetooth headset.
And people wonder what everything is getting robotic now a days. You get more information from the Internet than your employees. What do you pay them to do?
How about training your employees or getting some that are computer literate!
This is twice I've tried to come to Sam's and buy a computer to no avail.
I need to leave a minus star but don't have that option to rate these...
