Culver’s — Restaurant in Village of Baldwin

We wanted to thank and commend the team on Monday evening 4/29 for a great experience! 🌟

We both specifically ordered cheddar bacon butter burgers, but both received American cheese instead.... I went up to the counter to see what could be done, and was greeted with a smile by the cashier. She was understanding and hurried away to get the kitchen started on fixing their mistake, as the original order was input correctly. Then, Kyle, the shift lead, came to me and was apologetic, sympathetic, and attentive, all with a sweet smile and enthusiastic voice.

Kyle hand delivered the new burger to our table, along with two tokens for a free cup of custard. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND to SURPRISE AND DELIGHT us! We made sure to tell directly how much we appreciated the service he was committed to giving us, and he was so humble and taken aback!

My husband and I both work Chick-fil-A restaurants in Minneapolis, so we always get excited when we receive excellent second-mile service at other establishments because we expect it of our own team! It’s okay to make mistakes, as long as you make it right for the guests, and you absolutely did tonight!

Most Culver's are very predictable. However this one was a bit different from the rest. While the food was served quickly I'm not confident it was the freshest meal I've ever had at a Culver's. In most cases the burger is steaming hot and the fries and onion rings are almost to the point you need to leave them sit in the WI winter weather for a few seconds. While at this particular Culver's, my burger was simply just warm and likewise with my onion rings. I typically get the works on my burger as well this time was no different. However I was presented with very very large chunks of onions which I was very surprised because you usually only get one or two smaller pieces. I definitely go back and give him a second chance however it wasn't what I was expecting the first time...

Service was great the staff was very atentative and overly polite overall appearance of the place was very clean and the food was great however some of the customers leave a little too be desired this one guy in front of me ordered a burger and asked that the bun be gluten-free but would like it toasted witch apparently through a red flag on his order apparently there's a policy that doesn't allow a gluten-free bun to be toasted because of cross contamination from the grill witch to me made perfect sense the manager explained this to the guy in a very polite and professional manner this jerk through a temper tantrum and acted like a 2 year old child over a bun some people just shouldn't be...
