SOMBRERO'S MEXICAN GRILL（East Cypress） — Restaurant in Vincent

Ordered the asada combination plate and the asada burrito to-go.

Burrito: The flavors were too light--almost bland--and lacked depth of flavor; compensated by adding chile rojo to make the flavors more complex. The chips were crunchy but bland and the flavor for the salsas were too light.

Asada plate: The flavors were a little more complex because it had more ingredients but still lacked depth of flavor. The refried beans were bland and were under salted or unsalted. The rice was the same as from the burrito and flavors were too light. The asada came as flanks and needs a little more salt. The cucumber, avocado, lettuce, and diced tomatoes tasted fresh; not salted. The nopal was quite nice. The tortillas tasted generic. There was no cilantro or diced onions.

The food was okay. The flavors can be much stronger and needs improvement. The price point for the food was not worth it.

Absolutely loved this place!! the food was bomb and the owners very nice and kind always checked on our table and gave us complimentary sandiaa🍉 so yummy I had pozole soo yummy, my craving fulfilled.
