I wish I could give 0 stars. My family and I have been coming here for years. I have never felt so belittled, humiliated, and DISCRIMINATED against like I did today. This place refused the right to serve us for the first time in years. The other waitresses clearly knows us and how often we go. However, this time they asked us to leave, due to the new waitress that went out of her way to get us kicked out. The manager or the staff we're not even accommodating or empathic towards our situation. They stated that an elderly couple complained of my service dog but they weren't sneezing nor we were close to that couple, we were far away from them. The waitress was extremely rude and unprofessional, I'm sure they are the way they are due to the manager they have. He was very nonchalant did not care about the situation nor would look at me in the eye like a professional manager would. The unprofessional manager didn't even offer us a to go menu or option to make sure we were taken care of as a paying customer. I have a service animal whom is under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Housing Act and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. They refused my service because of my service animal. Which has never been an issue until the new waitress who was discriminating us. The fact of the matter and with all due respect this waitress did not know fluent English nor English at all therefore, there was a serious language barrier to understand the letter which I showed her and didn't understand the letter but the dates and she still refused our service. This restaurant needs to educate their employees on the laws of service animals! It is illegal to ask someone if their dog is a service animal. I am extremely disappointed that in 2023 people are not educated in the restaurant industries of the Act of 1973. This can be taken as a legal action due to this kind of discrimination I encountered today March 14, 2023. I truly hope other people with service animals whom are indeed life savers to their owners know that when they come here they discriminate and violate California's service animal laws (ADA) The Owner of Mar y Tierra please educated your staff on California's service dog law (ADA) and how it is illegal to ask and refuse service! If educated you would know not to ask such medical questions due to (HIPAA)LAW. Take this as a learning experience of such illegal questions. FYI: The manager will not side with customers he will side with his...
Read moreThe only thing good here was the Michelada's and the Oyster Shots.
Everything else we ordered was cooked early in the day or days before. The mussels were tasty but dried out as if it was at the bottom of the pot prepped way ahead of time. Old.
The Langostinos were slimy and falling apart. Had to send it back.
They forget your ordered here. Make sure to confirm your orders and remind them if you go here.

Read moreIf I could give this place a 0 star this would be the place. The music was terrible or should I say the lack of music because this place has no energy and is so boring that is embarrassing if they are trying to capture a Spanish culture. The service was mediocre and does not make any feel welcome, or has any kind of high wrench which is truly disappointing. The waitresses are unprofessional and inexperienced when it comes to...
