My Food was Cold and Very Late. I wrote this like a story time, so go to the 4th paragraph for the conclusion of the story.
1: I had ordered a stromboli(steak) and funnel fries for 12:45pm. (I had placed the order a little before 11am, so this gave them plenty of time to fulfill the order.) I ordered through the Slice app and got a message on my phone that it was out for delivery around 12:40pm. ( Keep in mind the building is only 5 minutes away from my house).
2: I get a call from the place around 1pm. The guy in a flat tone was like, “You placed an order around 11am, um, are you going to pick up your order.” And I was like, “ I ordered through the Slice app for a delivery at 12:45pm.” And then he was like, “ Oh okay, if you would like I can set out a driver to delivery it.”
3: I agreed and waited…and waited. And waited some more. The time was then 1:47pm and I called again. I asked for an update about my delivery— what I believe to be a different guy from before said, “ Oh is your order the stromboli? I have it right here and I have your address.” I said, “Okay…” And then he said, “ Sorry, it is going to be delivered.” I was internally frustrated, but kept a calm voice on the phone and hanged up.
4: My order came a little after 2pm and the food was very cold. I have always liked this restaurant, but I’m very disappointed in the delivery aspect. They didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience. Somehow my food took over an hour JUST for delivery, but my house is 5 minutes away. The one guy on the phone apologized for the it, but I still want to know who’s to blame for this huge time gap. I gave them tip online and I now regret. Next time, I will just call in and pick it up.
For future customers: Do not order through Slice, its better just to call the restaurant directly for an order. Also, I think depending who is working that day is what will make a difference in the quality of both the food...

Despite being informed that my order would be ready in 20 minutes, I ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes upon arrival. I received a Sicilian pizza instead of the regular one I had requested. After a frustrating 15-minute argument, I was told that they will fix it but I should make sure to order correctly next time. However, I did order correctly, and the mistake was made by the person taking the order. In such situations, it would be more reasonable for the business to handle the miscommunication gracefully and offer a resolution. Instead, they made it seem like I was lying about my order while begrudgingly agreeing to fix the mistake. Yeah no keep your pizza and your attitude. I will keep my money and use it somewhere with better food and customers service. This isn't the first time they've made errors with my order; on a previous occasion, they gave it to someone else, resulting in a lengthy wait for a new one. I wonder if that person was also admonished for supposedly ordering incorrectly. The food quality has been subpar during my last two visits, mirroring the unsatisfactory service. On a positive note, the employee who initially took my call tried her best and was pleasant throughout. Unfortunately, it appeared that the manager and owner engaged in a heated argument over who was right, leaving her caught in the middle. Today, I placed an order for a cheese pizza and when it got to my business, after tipping the driver and him walking away, I opened my order and got a cheesesteak. I immediately called to let them know that I received the wrong order and the lady said that she made no mistake, that it was what i ordered. Firsst of all, I dont eat cheesesteak. When I placed the order, I let her know I was undecided between a cheese pizza or a lasagna. The lady even asked me if I wanted toppings and I said no. She said just that with a can of soda. And I replied yes. When I called her, she was very nasty and rude. I just wanted to get the correct order and she said that she was not paying for it. I asked for the manager and she said she was the manager. IF she was the manager, she wouldve taken her time to resolve the issue but instead she proceeded to argue with me and said that it was not her mistake and she was not going to pay for it. I asked for the owner and she kept me on hold for a long time in which I hung up and called back. I asked if she was able to correct my order and she continued to argue and was VERY UNPROFFESIONAL. I had no complaints about this place until today. I place orders daily. Not once a month, but weekly.
