This used to be my favorite Pizza Ranch, bar none!
However, in the last year the quality of food and service has gone downhill.
I came here on Saturday, Oct 31(yesterday) around 1230 with a friend of mine for lunch.
The food on the buffet was OLD and near room temperature.
You know how old pizza looks when the cheese starts looking bad. Not only were all the pizzas like this, but the breadsticks were too.
The cactus bread was cold.
The mashed potatoes were old and room temperature.
The chicken was also near room temperature as well.
I very politely brought this to the attention to the staff and sat back down to wait for fresh, hot food.
After 15 minutes and no fresh, hot food, I went up front and asked for a refund. My friend did as well.
The manager on duty offered no apology or explanation as to why the food was not up to a safe temperature and why there was no fresh, hot food replacing it.
I hope the health department pays this place a visit.
Someone is going to get sick eating at this place.
The FDA, Iowa law, and safe food standards require that food should be under warmers that are capable of keeping hot foods at or above 140° F and food is to only be served at or above 140° F.
I do hope the owner takes action or Pizza Ranch yanks...

I just ordered 2 3 piece dinners, they said it would be delivered within 30-35 minutes it was but that wasn't the problem, I've been ordering from them for a very long time,they have messed up my order several times like too many I can't count to the point I stopped ordering food from them for awhile, well I started ordering from them again thinking it would be different, well it was going good for awhile then all of a sudden they messed up my order again, I asked for mashed potatoes in one meal and wedges in the other, I asked when she delivered if that was everything she said yes, she leaves I get everything out to get ready to eat and we didn't get our mashed potatoes, I called and talked to the guy that took my phone call and knew what I ordered, (Logan) he decided to argue with me and tell me that it was very hard to believe that I didn't get them, basically calling me a liar, and decided to hang up on me, not only once but twice, therefore his customer service sucks. And I will not order from them again. I will start taking my business elsewhere. If you like being argued with and hung up being the customer go for it, more power to you but I'm not. Good...
Read moreMy family and I came here for a nice dinner at the buffet, we came in at 7:30 pm and they had informed us that the buffet shuts down at 8:00 pm we said okay and agreed to just order a pizza but we had a guest that had not arrived yet and we informed them he might want to do buffet, the lady at the front counter had told my mom that our guest could just grab whatever they wanted from the buffet and pay for it afterwards if he would like, and that’s exactly what was done, except when our guest grabbed their fill from the buffet the manager came to our table and accused us of stealing and tried to go off on our party telling us we had not paid, we explained the situation and told him we did not want 8 buffet’s as we were told the kitchen stops serving the buffet at 8:00 pm, the manager informed us that they will keep filling it until everybody was satisfied, but that’s not what we were told upon arrival, miscommunication is understandable but to accuse our entire party of theft is just unprofessional and highly embarrassing, my family and I will not...
