Do NOT go to this Verizon. I highly recommend it going to retail stores, but definitely not this third party one. I went in on Black Friday simply because my phone was not working. The associate, Krista, brought up the idea of just getting a new phone. She stated she would give me a discount on the phone, waive all transfer fees, activation fees and what not. Then put of nowhere Krista sees I'm on a 4gb plan and tells me she can upgrade me to unlimited at no additional cost to my bill. Why wouldn't I do that?!
Everything goes great and I get my new phone AND watch. A week or two later I checked my bill and it was much higher than it should've been. I went in, talked with Krista and she assured me Verizon just hadn't applied all the discounts she processed. She advised if the bill wasn't corrected to come back just before it was due.
A day or two before my bill was scheduled to come out, it still was much higher, $375 vs $220. I called and spoke with Krista who assured me she would contact her manager and retail store and take care of this.
Well, she basically could do nothing so I had to call Verizon billing and be rude to someone for an hour whom had nothing to do with this, but was giving me information that I was promised differently. The activation fees, plan change all had been applied to the bill.
Krista then advised me to turn off my auto billing so they didn't take it out until she could figure it out. Today she tells me "they won't work with her" and there's nothing she can do.
Now, I have late bill for the first time ever and a bill $150 more than it should be. While Kirsta, who made these promises on behalf of Verizon, and the company itself, can apparently screw people over and have no...
Read moreBought a new iphone 13 promax from them and couldn't get a price breakdown from them at the time i picked up the phone (said it'd be in an email). Shady business practices, slapped a screen protector on with out asking if I wanted it then I finally get the email with charges and the thing was $64.99. Also $19.99 for setup that you can't opt out of. They put some info in (which was mainly me) it was useless, i had to reset the phone and do it myself when I got home to transfer all my info. I have another one ordered that I've committed to , would cancel but they charge for that too. Once I have this taken care of I'll never set foot in another Victra Verizon store. they should be upfront with costs and charges from the gitgo but I couldn't get info from them. They also charge more for the phones than the Verizon retail stores. next time I'll go to a Verizon store instead of picking a convenient location. word of mouth can be powerful advertising or kill your business....... think you know how I will...
Read moreFirst time wife and I have used this place and will be the last. In the past, when upgrading my iPhone, the Verizon store has given me the new phone to which I would then go home and switch over all my data. I would then take my old phone and ship it off for the trade-in. Well they would not let us do this. They said we had to come in and do everything in the store. Come to find out it’s so they can charge you a 20-25 dollar ‘service fee’. In other words, I sat in the store for 3 hours watching the employee follow on screen prompts, which anyone can do themselves at home, so they can charge me a fee. Ridiculous.
Drive to Cedar Rapids and do your business at an actual...
