Today was my first visit there. Needed a place (nearby) to meet my daughter for lunch. I'm a Saturday late-sleeper, who wants "breakfast" in the afternoon. Thus, Renee's was chosen (via Google Maps)! And it was a great choice. The meat lover's omelet was excellent (so much better than those dried out, paper-thin crepes from "IHOP"). My daughter had a daily special, and they customized it to fit her dietary needs. The server was great (sorry I didn't get her name). She was very pleasant and attentive, but not hovering (which is a very good aspect to me). She noticed when we needed refills, etc. without even coming to the table to ask. She saw that I had divided my meal in half, so brought a takeout box without me even asking for it. I don't dine out much, but the good food, service, and atmosphere at Renee's ensures that I will certainly plan on returning soon!

I Loved it! Living in Vinton close to 10 years and driving by several times every day this was my 1st time here! Whatever you call it.. Jerry’s or Renees., It was amazing! I was greeted very warmly with a friendly smile. The place was a little busy but quiet. No loud music or tvs blaring. I was given 2 complimentary sausage puffs with raspberry jam and they were delicious. I ordered the Jessee breakfast and it was fast service and excellent! The coffee was hot and refilled quickly. The waitress was very kind and polite and always had a warm smile! I will be back again soon! Thank you so much.

We have been going here for years! Southern comfort food at its finest. Breakfast is the best in this area and lunch and dinner come close, too. Their gravy is legit. Potato cakes are scrumptious. The sausage poofs are heaven. The fried chicken will make you slap your mama!!! Sunday family style dining is well worth it. The owners are down to earth and friendly. There is usually a short wait but they are on top of busting tables and getting everyone in quickly. We've never, ever had bad food or bad service! This has always been one of our favorite places.

Friday night "Fine Dining" from 5-9 P.M. is an added, expanded experience as good as any such competitor restaurant! Old, Antique, Sporty carrshow cars are normally displayed in good weather at the opposite end of the plaza parking lot, for free! Other restaurants review(s) wish for more expanded restaurant hours. Visit Renee's Family Restaurant during the current regular hours and try the Friday night "Fine Dining" menus that change every week! Become a part of those who patronize these hours currently available and give yourself a firsthand experience. You will observe how servers work so very hard to provide amazing customer service. Other staffers are dedicated to their tasks. Visit often and share grand experiences for the American "Supply and Demand" concept to spur growth. Recently, the Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine with Pomodero Sauce on Friday night was superb. The chicken atop the Fettuccine was so very tender that it literally cut with a fork. Yes, a fork. And no noodle repercussions either! As easy as cutting butter! The very best food. Restaurant start-ups in the 1980's were among the top bankruptcy failures in our USA. Thin profit margins. Competition. Tough business to successfully operate. Jerry's Family Restaurant survived so very many years. Jerry struggled with extreme tenacity and endurance through the Pandemic past. He gave his finest efforts throughout terrible operating environments. Renee's Family Restaurant is launched in Post-Pandemic repercussions and feeble economic futures. Supply shortages. An era of folks not wanting to work much. Inflation and economy turmoils. Endless difficult environments to navigate with business success. Experience this new and growing Renee's Family Restaurant first hand. Discover it for yourself. This establishment is working tirelessly to provide a great customer service venue. Very good Renee's Family Restaurant deserves a very...

This review is based on exterior/interior, service and food. detail review below (History and experience of restaurant) Jerry's restaurant opened around fifteen years ago. When it first opened the tables were full and getting a seat could mean a wait, but a well worth one. I have always loved Jerry's and supporting a small family business. *Exterior/interior: The outside is a cute barn restaurant style. Excellent parking room. The inside needs to be cleaned. There are some great antique pieces and local team pictures and community items, however, it is so overcrowded that it is impossible for them to keep it clean. They need to shut it down and replace carpet, fix booths, repaint, and limit clean decor items to go back in. It would be such an amazing upgrade!!! *The food: The mashed potatoes were homemade, as were the biscuits, mac and cheese, and cold salads. Recently I visited the restaurant and the last couple years have been a decline. The potatoes are instant or heavily substituted, the cold salads taste cheap and premade bulk, the biscuits are not even comparable, mac and cheese was dry, old and cheap (lack of quality ingredients). With that said the pintos, vegetable soup, meatloaf, fried chicken are great choices because they are pretty consistent. *The service: I have never really had any issues with my waitress, but what couple I ever had was immediately resolved. Jerry, assuming he still owns it, always ran his floor really well and handled the problems with promptness. with interior upgrades mentioned and seeing to a simpler menu with quality ingredients would do wonders!!! It would be reopening and marketing that...

We came we saw we won't be back!- We came in on a Saturday morning. It was q little busy but nothing crazy. We stood up front about a minute while a gentleman entered his orders into the ps. He says it will be a minute while they prepare a table. That's when another couple walks in and is immediately greeted by another female co- worker who she proceeds to seat them immediately. The guy at the register says I'm so sorry about that- finished up entering the order and walks away- in meantime passes the same female co worker not saying anything about the fact she just sat someone in front of us and proceeds to walk away. The girl sees us and walks away as well.... at that point I'm out. So a manager or someone important enough to sit in the dining area apparently was seated in the area and oversaw all of this. She tried to stop us after I went out the first door. However, at that point she should have intervened way way sooner. Understand, this was absolutely disappointing- aa I've wanted to try them for months now since moving nearby. Now I'll be driving further to...
