Other staffers are dedicated to their tasks. Visit often and share grand experiences for the American "Supply and Demand" concept to spur growth. Recently, the Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine with Pomodero Sauce on Friday night was superb. The chicken atop the Fettuccine was so very tender that it literally cut with a fork. Yes, a fork. And no noodle repercussions either! As easy as cutting butter! The very best food. Restaurant start-ups in the 1980's were among the top bankruptcy failures in our USA. Thin profit margins. Competition. Tough business to successfully operate. Jerry's Family Restaurant survived so very many years. Jerry struggled with extreme tenacity and endurance through the Pandemic past. Read moreThis review is based on exterior/interior, service and food. detail review below (History and experience of restaurant) Jerry's restaurant opened around fifteen years ago. When it first opened the tables were full and getting a seat could mean a wait, but a well worth one. I have always loved Jerry's and supporting a small family business. *Exterior/interior: The outside is a cute barn restaurant style. Excellent parking room. The inside needs to be cleaned. There are some great antique pieces and local team pictures and community items, however, it is so overcrowded that it is impossible for them to keep it clean. They need to shut it down and replace carpet, fix booths, repaint, and limit clean decor items to go back in. It would be such an amazing upgrade!!! *The food: The mashed potatoes were homemade, as were the biscuits, mac and cheese, and cold salads. Recently I visited the restaurant and the last couple years have been a decline. The potatoes are instant or heavily substituted, the cold salads taste cheap and premade bulk, the biscuits are not even comparable, mac and cheese was dry, old and cheap (lack of quality ingredients). With that said the pintos, vegetable soup, meatloaf, fried chicken are great choices because they are pretty consistent. *The service: I have never really had any issues with my waitress, but what couple I ever had was immediately resolved. Jerry, assuming he still owns it, always ran his floor really well and handled the problems with promptness. with interior upgrades mentioned and seeing to a simpler menu with quality ingredients would do wonders!!! It would be reopening and marketing that...
Read moreWe came we saw we won't be back!- We came in on a Saturday morning. It was q little busy but nothing crazy. We stood up front about a minute while a gentleman entered his orders into the ps. He says it will be a minute while they prepare a table. That's when another couple walks in and is immediately greeted by another female co- worker who she proceeds to seat them immediately. The guy at the register says I'm so sorry about that- finished up entering the order and walks away- in meantime passes the same female co worker not saying anything about the fact she just sat someone in front of us and proceeds to walk away. The girl sees us and walks away as well.... at that point I'm out. So a manager or someone important enough to sit in the dining area apparently was seated in the area and oversaw all of this. She tried to stop us after I went out the first door. However, at that point she should have intervened way way sooner. Understand, this was absolutely disappointing- aa I've wanted to try them for months now since moving nearby. Now I'll be driving further to...
