PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!! Stopped into to grab some one step yellow cpvc glue and they had none. Ask the guy in the plumbing area where it was and he tried to sell me the orange cpvc glue with the purple primer. I made home aware that is only suppose supposed to be used with grey cpvc piping generally 2" and above and the smaller yellow pipe is not supposed to have primer on it and requires the flow guard gold one step glue. He proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and he's been selling like that and it's been working for years. We'll I'm the master plumber that comes in years later when the pipes and fittings fail due to the wrong application and have to make reports to insurance companies because of ignorant uneducated folks like this fellow sell the wrong product for the wrong application and it fails years later. This really bothers me when he tries to argue with me when he is completely wrong and is so ignorant on this situation. 6/17/24 10am in the morning I had to deal with this. If you don't believe feel free to call oatey the glue manufacturer or and cpvc pipe manufacturer and ask what glue they recommend for the 2" and below. I have had to do ir several times. Ace hardware needs to do better and get rid...

I love this store....pretty good prices, and close to home. Sometimes a few employees are non-communicative, and downright sour and dour....but the majority are helpful, smiling, and ready to work!

Today I had to get 50 pounds of chicken feed, and I was struggling to get it up into my arms. A young man ran over, carried it to checkout, and after scanning/paying he carried it to my car! Love that, and in EIGHT YEARS that is a first.

They are transitioning to an Ace Hardware from True Value Hardware, and that scares me, because we are very rural and need rural-type things, which Ace normally doesn't carry. But, the world will change with or without me, so I better get used to it. 💜💜💜

BOY OH BOY, has this place come a long way since becoming an Ace Hardware!

Our visit today delighted me, as FINALLY there is enough actual hardware that I can buy singles of. I LOVE THAT. You don't always need a package of ten widgets, but perhaps just one or two.

Hardware stores are my favorite places to visit, and to be picky as to their inventory.

I don't like their current brand of chicken feed, and will continue to drive the extra 20 miles, to a different Ace, so our hens are happy. After all, they provide us with healthy...
