Ben + Christine went above and beyond to ensure our wedding at Combustion Brewery was everything we envisioned (and so much more!). From offering suggestions, to physically helping set up/take down -- to Christine helping "guard" the bride, keeping away unwanted distractions, our special day at Combustion could not have been more perfect! The venue is visually stunning and unique, with Edison-style lights strung across the ceiling, and gorgeous natural lighting from the windows. The bride and groom dressing rooms were perfectly arranged, with more than enough space and seating for the wedding party to comfortably get ready. Ben + Christine were so easy to communicate with, and so willing to go out of their way to make sure this was a wonderful experience for us. 10/10 would recommend Combustion Brewery & Taproom to anyone searching for a beautiful venue, with professional/customer service-oriented staff. The value is unbeatable. We can't praise Combustion Brewery (Ben + Christine) highly enough!! Book with them -- you'll be so happy you did.

If you're into uninspired beer with what I assume are brewing grains floating in it, served in glasses covered in rinse spots and lipstick smears, this is your place! There are plenty of options for seating: the solid bar, the gorgeous dining room, the spacious wrap around patio. Careful how many steps you take on the patio though or you might wander two steps too far ending up in the 'smoking area.' "No drinks in the smoking area!" The staff sternly reminds me as my friend sits at a table safely in the 'drinking area' conveniently within spitting distance from the ashtray (no chairs or tables in the smoking area.) Fine, I'll leave the beer on the table and move the chair closer to the ashtray so I can be withing kicking distance of both; Also unacceptable: "No smoking in the drinking area, it could ruin the experience for the other patrons." A delightful breeze wafts over the open air patio and out into the parkinglot away from the next 4-5 unoccupied tables; A sign perhaps to set sail for more...
Read moreJust found my new favorite place to get a beer! Can't believe it took me over two months to get here (it's only a mile from my house). The place is cool, the people are cooler and the beer is absolutely great. Asked if they gave tours and within 2 minutes the owner Keith introduced himself and spent 30 minutes showing me around and talking about his vision for this place. Olde Pickerington hasn't had this much mojo in its entire history.
2024 UPDATE:
The beers at Combustion have only gotten better and the place has grown in size, capacity and popularity! Their 7th Anniversary celebration happened less than two weeks ago and was packed! I'm proud to say owners Keith Jackson and his wife Sarah have become personal friends. Combustion has been a solid supporter of so many community events and organizations in Pickerington over the years. Their presence here is one of the best things to ever happen...
