If you plan on bringing children or large loud families, please don't. There is not enough room. Its starting to deter me from coming here as much as id like to. It gets so cramped and busy almost no matter what time or day you come in. I had to sit outside in the cold last time i came since there was no available seating indoors. The food and coffee was great, with wonderful presentation, you can tell a lot of love goes into it! It has nice dim interior but also has big windows near the front. The prices are pretty standard with what you'll see with other coffee shops, but the quality is better than most!! For me personally I love to go to cafes to work, draw and write, and this coffee house is a little difficult to do that in. I didn't see any places to plug in laptops/tablets, not too many tables, and since it's very popular it can get a bit noisy. So if you're looking for a quiet study place this might not be it, but I still highly recommend coming here to just enjoy the coffee and food!! It's a wonderful place to come with company and to just enjoy a lazy weekend, and you can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in this place! He walks around and delivers the drinks and food directly to you! Very sweet, and his wife decorated the entire place wonderfully! Lots of plush little chairs...
Read moreAmbiance is so on point for when you want a place to have great coffee, take in the warm and inviting atmosphere. There’s Latin American and English music playing over PA system, great selections - could it have been Gloria Estefan??? Upscale selection of wall decor, chandelier over a large round table, nice baskets on the wall, arch mirror, etc. service is friendly. The host and owner is engaging, strong me know they opened 6 weeks ago and has been not surprisingly busy! So happy for this new coffee shop addition! I ordered their panela cafe con leche. It looks like liquid crème brûlée, cones with a Goya biscuit, staying true to their Latin roots! I also ordered their spinach pastry, cutely served on newspaper, what a rustic touch! They have an order line and a Pick Up Here line. I was so focused on writing this review I didn’t notice my coffee was ready BUT the barista actually brought it to me, and my pastry right to my table! Now the important part - how good is their Colombian coffee concoction? The panela cafe con leche is divine! Definitely originality here! And the spinach pastry - yum… the crust has slight sweetness just like a croffle but flakier! My new coffee destination a few miles from VB town center...
Read moreThis is a cute, vibey little shop that has obviously had a lot of thought put into the decor and design. However, I’ve visited here probably close to ten times at the time of this review and the folks on register are always icy in their demeanor. It feels like they don’t really want to deal with anyone but I know working with the public can be tough, so I get it. My major complaint is actually the quality of their to-go cups and I’ve mentioned it to them a few times. The plastic cups and dome lids are paper-thin. I don’t even know what to compare them to. They’re like half as thick as a Starbucks to-go cup. So this place is charging literally $8 for an iced latte and then giving it to you in a cup that collapses at the sides when you hold the drink. They are very obviously trying to cut corners on this overhead expense and it’s frustrating because this seems to be something that everyone I know who goes here complains about but this coffee shop won’t order in better plasticware for their customers that pay quite a bit of $ for iced coffee. I think today was probably my last visit because it’s a minor inconvenience, but at $11 for a single iced latte with a fair tip - this is an unacceptable...
