So excited to find authentic gelato in my backyard! Zakia encouraged us to try a few different flavors and they were all amazing! The lavender matcha is one of the most unique I've ever had. It was a difficult choice between goat cheese blueberry and sea salt caramel. They have so many selections that cater to different dietary needs like dairy free and gluten free. Make sure to try the sorbet too. Sea salt watermelon with a dash of Tajin is the worth the trip. Can't wait to go back and try the new ones

Delicious! If you’re looking for amazing ice cream gelato in Virginia Beach, go to Sweet and Spice. So many delicious flavors, from the originals like Double Chocolate, Vanilla, and Caramel to fun unique creations that the owner invents. She makes everything from scratch. It’s clearly a labor of love, and I enjoyed meeting the owner and her husband on my family’s latest visit here. They’re very kind and super passionate about gelato. Highly recommend! PS they also have vegan gelato made with nondairy milk, so if you’re looking for vegan ice cream in VB or have dairy lactose allergies, definitely try...

I don’t know where to begin… I googled “authentic gelato in VB” and, for once, Google did not disappoint! This place was AMAZING and that truly is an understatement. Zakia was the kindest, nicest, and sweetest person! She shared a lot of her story with us including her passion for making gelato. She had an incredible gift and talent so PLEASE treat yourself and your family and your neighborhood and workplaces and church and literally everyone to try this gelato… I promise you will not be disappointed.
