Just left from the drive through and the wait time was like usual; they had a bit of trouble hearing me so I had my dad repeat it so they could hear it. We finally get to the window and I didn’t know they didn’t take Apple Pay so my dad offered to pay with his card and after giving the rude guy at the window the card, he said “oh wait, don’t use that card, can I switch with this one instead?” And the dude completely ignored him and me calling him almost 5 times even though the window was open; then when he acknowledged us, my dad asked again if he could switch cards and he told us “one moment” in a snarky kind of tone, but didn’t give us the card back which was confusing so my dad thought he misheard him and asked for HIS card back again and the guy kept saying “one moment” and then slammed the window in our face without giving the card back. A few moments later he opens it again and says”I’m ready for your other card now and after taking it, slams the window again and stops speaking all together and basically shoves the card and drink in my dads hand, then slams the window again as hard as possible. I used to come here almost religiously, but after this, there’s no way I’m coming back to disrespectful people. I work in two different food service jobs myself and have never seen a need to treat someone in that manner unless it absolutely called for it. I don’t know if the guy in the red shirt is a manager or something, but I’d love for this place to go back to the way...
Read moreSo my family and I like cook out. Normally we stop at the one in Norfolk. Tonight we decided to try this one because it's closer to our home. Well I wish I would have driven 7 miles to Norfolk. I approached the drive thru and the young lady asked if she could take my order as if I were a bother to her. There was a lot of hostility in her voice. So being a Manger in customer service I tried to ignore her tone and continued with my order. But when I got to the second tray I was ordering she rudely interrupted me and asked how many trays will I be ordering? Again as if I was bothering her or disturbing her. So I continued with my order despite her tone. Once at the window I was given my total by a different young lady who greater me with a smile and was obviously not the same girl who took my order and I asked if everything was OK and she said yes and took my payment and closed the window. Then the angry, upset young lady made a comment using profanity. Now at this point I'm upset because there was nothing that warranted this type of language on my part. I didn't get loud, or smart, I was genuinely concerned. So to wrap up I will not be returning g to this location ever. And I hope Kimberly (name on the receipt) has a better day. And if working with the public makes you that angry maybe you should find a new line of work. I have a choice of where I spend my money and it won't be here. She has...
Read moreOrdered tonight, drive thru for family of five. Arrived home only to find 3 of the 5 orders were wrong. Was actually the second consecutive visit that required a return trip to correct. Kyle, the store manager apparently, completely disingenuous and aside from the apology in passing was disinterested in much other than getting me out of his store. While there, another gentleman was there and told me that 2 of the orders I was returning was his and he had to return to the store as well. Somewhere, a third order was incorrect as well. This location was once a nice place to eat and visit, but it’s seriously declined over the past 5-8 months or so. Not surprised with “leadership “ like what I witnessed tonight from Kyle. This is not about looking for something free as I haven’t once asked/received anything free or refunded, but it has everything to do with horrible customer service, a complete lack of professionalism, and a sincere inability to resolve service issues that are apparent with our last few visits. I understand Kyle that your mistakes haven’t and don’t inconvenience you, but after a hour and 2 20 minute trips to resolve another service failure, a minimal amount of sincerity and empathy would’ve went a long way. Won’t make the mistake of spending money at this location again, although other locations have consistently provided great quality...
