Hardee’s — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

Decided to go to Hardee's for lunch because my wife was raving about the chicken tenders combo meal. Ok.... So I get to the drive thru everything runs smoothly at the speaker and seemingly at the window. The drive thru worker after taking my payment have me my drink and told me to pull up to the white line. I'm like heck yeah they are gonna make my chicken tenders fresh.....I am down with that. So I proceed to continue on my phone call when ten minutes go by and I notice that I don't have my food yet. The drive thru worker comes out with sauce like " Hey dude, I forgot to give you your sauce 🫙 and I'm saying to him..."My man, I haven't Even gotten my order" he says "dude are you serious, I'll be right back, I'm sorry" so he's gone another 3 to 4 minutes comes back and says I'm so sorry sir I put a couple extra tenders in the box for your inconvenience. So I'm running late getting back to work. I thank the young man and roll off lunch break is over and darn I'm late..., so I get back to my desk 6 minutes up the road and I open the box.... Mouth ready for Hot Chicken tenders and these MFs are not only not hot AT ALL, But they taste like they were fried in old fish 🐟 grease! The fries were wimpy AF, the child slaw was watered down and the Texas toast bread was basically a stakes and toasted all at the same time..... I used to work at Hardee's in high school and I took pride in serving people great food. Seems they care not these days about the product they put out. Now I did call the manager and inquire as to if I could get a reorder...I would love a better impression because this shouldn't happen at lunch time especially good supposed to be hot not tasting like it was yesterday's product recycled in the warmer. And then put on my tray....I mean lunch should be so hot it can damn near burn thru your box or wrapper in my opinion... Told her about the grease taste in the chicken said she would check the grease in the fryer. I haven't home back to get my redo from Tuesday but she surely took my name down. I'll be back very soon for my Redo... Be on...

Terrible experience at the London Bridge location. First, the drive-thru cashier didn't show any customer service skills. After ordering, when I pulled up to the window, she didn't say anything just reached out for my payment, when she was ready to give me the drinks, I asked if could please have a drink carrier, she said nothing and shut the window, she put the drinks in the carrier, the fruit punch was spilling everywhere all down the side of the cup, I had to hold it out of my window and wipe the cup down myself, she just watches me, she didn't even offer a napkin, when I was looking for one, or say sorry that the drink was like that. Then she said, "pull behind the car". Still no please, or thank you. Two other cars were still waiting on food. She brings my food out 10mins later. I get home, the fruit punch tastes like water, the tea is not sweet, and my chicken sandwich is not completely cooked all the way!! One side was done, but the other side was stringy and glassy looking, of course that's the side I bit first, and immediately spit it out because the texture was wrong. I called and talked to a manager. He says "All I can do is change the syrup in the fruit punch, that's how the tea is made, and I can't do anything about the chicken sandwhich because each piece of chicken is cooked for 4mins." I told him I think yall rushed the chicken because there was a back-up in drive-thru, there is no way the chicken should look or taste like it did. I asked for corporate number. He gave me the number, and apologized, but what good is the apology when I am out of a meal I paid for???? No offer to remake or replace my meal. I hung up and called corporate. Corporate informed me that someone will be in contact with me. We'll see...

I have found the food at Hardee's should be very good, the service was excellent, and the cashier Pat went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect. That Hardee's is that Laskin and Great Neck Road Virginia Beach. Most definitely five stars for fast food place. Had a terrible experience at Bojangles on Laskin Road earlier this evening. Food was not only cold hard and dried up chicken, but when I called to replace my order and went back into the establishment a Bojangles I was greeted very unprofessionally, the service and management are deplorable. Is it against the health code violation can bring food back into an establishment after it has left. Let alone the manager stuck his fingers with no gloves into the food that I come back into the establishment, tried to refuse doing my order over, or giving me a refund. Only after having his name telling him what he done and telling him I was calling code enforcement and health Bureau to close establishment down oh, did he decided it was better to give me a refund. However in the morning I still be calling the Health Department and code enforcement. This Bojangles is over by Captain George's Rock and Road in Virginia Beach beware.
