Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

We stopped coming here for a very long time because they never get a order correct EVER! But I do like their pizza. Sadly it’s not worth the hassle. Last night was the last straw to break the camels back. For starters ordered a couple salads and a pizza. I would say that 1/4 or the pizza’s could crust was missing. It was only a medium and three slices crust were missing so you do the math. Now let’s get to the salads. I do not know what level of education someone has to have to make a salad, but whom ever made ours did not achieve that level. The wife’s salad had no tomatoes and it should have, no salami which we had paid extra for. Now my salad, I’m a big fan of chicken Caesar salads. I got a few extra thing put in mine, like mushrooms. Well when I think of mushrooms in a salad it’s not the canned type of mushroom I was expecting fresh. Nooope. Iceberg lettuce which should be romaine. Needless to say we spoken to the managers on several locations and it’s just not worth it. So if you want to order and expect your order to be correct DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT...

Whenever my adult children are in town or whenever my wife and I want to forego cooking we will get pizza(s) from Marco's. The food is delicious, especially the Hawaiian Chicken pizza. All of that being said my service experience there has declined over time. When I first started going there you could order a take out, then sit out front in your car and the staff would signal you to come in or they would bring it out. This evening, however, was a very different story. (An important note here is that there are only a few chairs so waiting inside is problematic if there are a lot of customers.) So I went in and ordered the pizza mentioned above, paid, was told it would be about 20 minutes, and I said I'd wait in my car right in front of the store. I asked if they could just notify me and I'd come in so they didn't have to come out. 30 minutes later I went in to see what was up and found it had been sitting getting cold for a good 10 minutes. I had people waiting so I had to leave, but was not enamored with the service...

My review is changing until they make some changes. Marcos has fallen off. Everytime we order recently they screw up the order or give us a bad batch. They constantly forget to bring extra ranch, in fact usually if we order extra they don't even put the one that's supposed to come with it in the box. Strike one. Then they only get the crust toppers we order about 50% of the time. Strike two. And then the last few batches we have ordered have been over cooked and or not what we ordered. Strike three/ four. Now their pizza when correct is our favorite, but domino's has never screwed up our order and we have ordered a lot of pizza from them, (they have been around a lot longer and was our go to)not messing up once, now that's saying something, they may steal back that go to label unless Marco's gets their act together. How hard is it to put in a pizza order, especially on a Friday night at that. If you can't get that simple job right then how can we trust your even washing your hands or any other simple task...
