Loved going here a long time ago but hadn't been in years until today. Family of 5 cost 100 dollars and honesty wasn't worth it. My order was for to go and 2 things were missing that I had to run back in for which wasn't a big deal but once I got home to eat food I noticed my family size salad had all this water at the bottom of the container- the lettuce was not fresh at all either mostly yellow with hard white chunks. I thought about taking back for a refund but not worth my time so tossed it in the trash- complete waste! Smaller side salad was normal so not sure what happened with the family size one. Cheesesteaks were super cheesy but lacked flavor, they literally tasted like just meat with cheese on them and the bread was really soggy. I was told they are really good and thats why I went to check them out so guess depends who is making them. Cheese fries would be better if dining in because once home they were cold and once reheated weren't the best. Overall I say you could definitely find a better cheesesteak if that's what you are craving, definitely stay away from the salads. Most places just don't have good quality food anymore or people who at least know how to make things correctly....
Read moreI've always wanted to try Pembroke Pizza but never had the opportunity when the urge for pizza came up. It's located on the corner of a small shopping center off Independence Blvd. and you may miss it since the sign isn't really large. The parking is minimal but the majority of the orders were to go do you should be able to find a spot. If not, you can park on the street adjacent to it.
I ordered the 8" cheese pizza because of you can't get a cheese pizza done right, you might as well not call yourself a pizza restaurant. I asked for jalapeños and sweet peppers for this hot day. Plus, I wanted to see a contrast of colors so the cheese. The crust was cooked to perfection: soft with a crunchy upper layer. I was expecting a NY style and I'm so happy it wasn't. I'm not a fan of thin pizza crust. It was good amount of cheese to crust ratio. I never felt like I was shorted. The sauce won't knock you out but it works in tandem with everything else.
I'm definitely coming back. If you're in the Pembroke area, give it a shot. They also have various calzones, pastas, subs, and wings of your not in the...
Read moreMy husband and I last minute booked a hotel for my birthday weekend. The hotel itself was AWFUL to say the least. However we decided to order in supper from Pembroke Pizza because we both were craving pasta. I got the chicken parmesan and my husband got the tortellini alfredo, we both got side salads. The girl who took my order informed me it would likely be an hour and a half before we would get delivery. That was fine. I could hear in the back how busy it was and bless her heart she never got flustered. AboutaAbout hour after calling in we got moved to a different room (again... Awful hotel) so I called back to let them know we would be elsewhere. The girl was so sweet and understanding. When the driver came to the hotel he called to confirm our room number. I was very pleased that he was wearing a mask. The food was AMAZING. It honestly made up for the horror that was our hotel. I don't know if the ranch dressing is house made or not but I want a tub of it. The portions were large considering the price. My husband and I cannot wait to be able to come in for a...
