Senor Fox Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

I have been coming here since I was kid and always loved senor Fox till my most recent experience today. Since we arrived at the restaurant the waiter was rude to us , which is fine we understand people have their days. I ordered my meal as well as a guacamole , my friend and I each took one bite of the gauc and it tasted off , there was hardly any lime or cilantro, which again no problem there is always off days . We waited for someone to come by to our table so we can mention it ( mind you this was around 5 so it was not very busy) and it wasn’t until we were done with our meals the manager came by and asked how everything was , we still only each took one bite of the guacamole, I told him that the guacamole was a little off and since we had already finished our meals if we could just take the guacamole taken off our tab as we each only took one bite , he told us we should of said something sooner to which we told him he was the first person to come by our table he then said we should of grabbed our waiter when we saw him , but we had not seen our waiter since he took our order . The whole time he had an attitude with us then he proceeded to bring our waiter to our table and loudly in front of the whole restaurant said we told him no one has checked on us and then made our waiter apologize it was incredibly uncomfortable as the whole patio stared at us. Food was great and service was ok this time. We sat outside and the Lord's ambiance was perfect. The drink was a little more than I could finish. I asked for a sealed cup that I get when I order to go Alcohol beverages. The response was "No Drinks with alcohol can leave the premises per ABC unless they are bought at the bar." The information was not adding for me...The manager can't put the drink in a cup that he was telling me to just buy another drink and he will seal that one. I felt the whole situation was handled very poorly,customer service was trash and I will not be coming back for a long time. I am not ok with how he handled my misunderstanding. They need better management...period

What I have recently read... nothing about no putting ALREADY bought beverages into cups and having to buy a whole new drink to take home the beverage. 🤷🏾‍♀️ The rudeness has tainted me...

Went there for the first time tonight. I had no complaints until I asked if it was okay if I got something else. I ordered the Bang Bang shrimp tacos but I received tacos that were filled with popcorn shrimp and no Bang Bang sauce. I politely asked one waiter if it was okay if I got something else, he walked off and went to the manager. I then asked my waitress the same question, she reacted the same as waiter before. Then, the manager comes to my table and asked what was going on. I said “I just wanted to know if I could get something different”. I did not say the food was nasty, I did not raise my voice at all, I politely asked my question. He then says to me “Didn’t we already go through this?”….. I reacted with “Huh?” and my friend said “We have never been here before.” After, I said “I just want to know if I can get something else”, the manger said “I mean we’re not going to make you eat it”. So I asked for a menu and ordered the chimichangas. They were fine. I even said sorry for the inconvenience. I just felt uncomfortable after those comments.
