How have I not written a review of this amazing store?!? Well, we will remedy that right now.
I have always loved Home Goods and TJ Maxx so I was pretty excited when I saw this was being built right in between Back Bay Gourmet, my fav local restaurant, and Target, my fav shopping any time all the time.
This particular store is pretty large and well-stocked with a little bit of everything. They have decor, a fair bit of furniture, a lot of home rugs, sheets and blankets, towels and bathroom stuff, soap, candles, pots and pans, cups, food and snacks (my fav pickles and chips come from here), pet items, lamps, children’s toys, pillows, etc etc. Basically, you can find anything you need here and a bunch of stuff you don’t but you’re getting anyway.
The stuff inside is pretty nice and high-end. It’s by far the fanciest and most well-stocked with name brand items Homegoods I’ve ever been in. Like Kate Spade lamps and decor, Cuisinart pots and pans, Calvin Klein bedding, etc etc.
I come here about once a week to browse because they have so much turnover and only get a handful of the items that they are putting stuff out literally all the time.
Due to the location by the beach they feature a lot of coastal decor. Fine by me! It’s all cute!
If you see something you like you better go ahead and get it! Chances are it’ll be gone...
Read moreHome Goods used to be my favorite place to shop. I shop there several times a month, and have spent a lot of money in this store. My husband and I purchased 2 bar stools in June for our new home ...our closing was supposed to be June 30th. Due to the closing of the home we were selling being pushed back 4x, we just moved into our new home August 15th. And much to our dismay, found that the bar stools are too tall and will not work. My husband went ti return them today, tags still on stools and had the receipt, but would only give a store credit. As a former retail store manager myself, I do understand policies...but also know that sometimes exceptions have to be made. Now I'm stuck with 2 bar stools that I cannot use. I AM calling the area director, in hopes of some resolve to this unfortunate situation that was out of our control, and if none, I will not shop in ANY Home Goods store again. Sometimes you need to be able to work with and help...
Read moreToday I stopped by to get a gift. The line was about 20 people long but moving fairly well. I waited about 15 minutes and then the line stopped moving. It was right before 6 pm and suddenly they went from 4 cashiers to 1. The 3 other cashiers were just standing with their backs to the line attending to items on the counter behind them and not customers. The line quickly tripled in size and did not start moving again. After another 15 minutes I left empty handed. I understand that there are staff shortages - however this was not an issue of staff not being available, it was staff ignoring the customers. ...
