So my coffee was great and so was my croissant. The service, however, was not. The employee Lei had such a smart mouth with me about my windshield wipers being on cause it was raining. I pull up to the window and she is standing a distance away from the window and without saying "hello" or "how are you doing today" she says to me with the straightest face, "Can you turn off your windshield wipers?" (Still standing at a distance) I turn them off confused and honestly thinking she was joking. Once I noticed she wasn't joking I immediatly realised she asked that so the water didn't splash on her, so I ask, "Is it so the water doesn't get on you?" And she literally says to me with an attitude, "I mean if you want water on your food that's fine with me!" I was BESIDE myself. I just couldn't believe and employee would talk to a paying customer like that. Of course I dont want water on my food! Who does??!! Every time I get to the speaker and Sam is working, she makes you feel like she missed you visiting! She’s always so personable and interactive. I always order different specialty drinks that I find on IG, when she repeats the order and asks if I’m having “this” or “that” with it I say “surprise me” and she’s always excited about that. As a store manager for a different company I know the importance of great customer service and just being a kind human. Sam has got it all.
