Bell Hut Asian Cuisine Restaurant — Restaurant in Virginia

I’ve come to bell hut only for years, easily almost 8 years. I travel from Richmond to go to bell hut that’s how much I respected this place. Went last night for my spouses birthday and and the women with the short black hair refilled our glasses halfway while looking me in the eye and smiling? Like did I do something? Then when it was time for the tab she abruptly jumped beside me and gave my spouse this weird thumbs up, cocked her head and smiled as she delivered another half full glass of water and the tab. Really seemed pushy and aggravated. Food was great but the service was literally just weird this time. I’ve never had an experience like that anywhere I’ve ever eaten. Just really strange interactions to say the least. Our original waiter the young boy he was great till the women with short hair came and started acting weird with us. Also we asked for a Togo order after our dinner to take home and it was never put in and again just seemed so stingy with refills. I don’t know what was going on. A friend and I had dinner here around 4pm. Small eatery but it was empty and we had pick of where we wanted to sit. Service was prompt and good. We had Crab Rangoons to start. Very fresh and light. Presented nicely too! We split three specialty rolls: Reindeer Roll, Valentine Roll, and Summer Blossom Roll. Served on nice stone platter. All 3 were fresh and delicious, presented well. The favorite was the Valentine Roll. Has a lot going on with tempura shrimp, cream cheese, fresh jalapeno, and other things but very nice texture and the flavors don't overwhelm. Reindeer Roll was Delicious with white fish and lemon peel topper. Balanced out the umami very well. Summer Blossom was good, but just not a favorite on the palate. 3 specialty rolls and an app ran $50, which is reasonable for good sushi. Overall a quality...

I ordered pad thai to go for my hubby but I've had it before and its fabulous.

For myself I ordered hibachi shrimp with fried rice and it comes with veggies on the side too. It comes with side salad with some kind of peanut dressing. Yummy. Miso soup as well. To make authentic, i got hot green tea. Wish I could've brought it home. It was all very filling and absolutely delicious. I feel like a stuffed turkey right now. LOL.

Please note that I went at 5 pm and it was empty in there except for some to-go orders they were preparing. By 6 pm it got busier. If u wanna go to this place, I suggest to go earlier as opposed to later.
