If you haven’t been to Cesare's Ristorante and Pizza in Chester, you are absolutely missing out! This place is a true hidden gem that delivers not only incredible food but an all-around unforgettable dining experience. Let’s talk about the crab bisque soup first..... WOW! Creamy, rich, and bursting with fresh seafood flavor, it’s the kind of soup you wish you could take home by the gallon. The fresh salad was perfection with crisp greens, vibrant vegetables, and a dressing that brought it all together without overpowering the freshness. We also went for the flight, and it was a fun and delicious way to explore more of what they offer. Every bite was packed with flavor, making it hard to even pick a favorite. And then came the crab and shrimp dip… let me just say, it’s the kind of appetizer that will make you close your eyes just to savor it. Creamy, cheesy, loaded with tender seafood. You’ll be scraping the dish clean! But what really made this night stand out was our server, Emelyn. She was an absolute rockstar. Friendly, patient, and genuinely passionate about the food, she walked us through the menu like a pro, helping us choose exactly what we’d love. She checked in at the perfect moments, kept our drinks full, and made us feel completely taken care of from start to finish. Cesare's isn’t just a place to eat it’s a place where you feel at home, where the food is made with love, and where the service makes you want to come back again and again. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Chester, do yourself a favor and make this your next stop. Trust me, you’ll be talking about it long after your plate is empty.

The first time I ate here the party ordered multiple appetizers- I would recommend the spinach dip. I would not recommend the chicken wings. The other appetizers such as onion rings, fried veggies were okay. For my entrée I ordered Chicken Alfredo, It was horrible and tasted like pasta water. The waitress offered to take it back and I ordered a Chicken Philly that was also disgusting and really salty. The second time I dined here was for another birthday party. I ordered chicken fingers and spinach dip. I finally had found something that was good. So I thought. Tonight I decided to place a pick up order : 2 chicken tender dinners, lasagna, spinach dip and a side order of spinach. I spent $70.94 happily until I went back in for sauce for my chicken tender dinners. Reminder I just spent $40 in Chicken tenders. They had the audacity to charge me 75 cents for sauce. When did restaurants start charging their customers for sauce that is traditionally provided with chicken tenders? And it wasn't and extra container of sauce. I called back to just verify their policy Julie informed me even though I just ordered chicken tenders they charge for the sauce. That is horrible customer service. They should remove ristorante from their name if the policies are worst then McDonald's.

Giving this establishment a 1 star is generous, first off our jalapeño poppers were so over cooked it melted the cheese so much it disintegrated, then our boneless wings came cold and barely any sauce. My bosses chicken salad came wilted. The manager Miguel is rude when we brought the food back he literally pulled everything on the. Punter and counted the chicken and poppers, I brought the remade order back to work and we opened our wings and we had a bitten wing….. we called back and the manager Miguel was completely rude, he never even apologized our food was terrible!!!!

This was our 2nd visit to Cesare's Ristorante. We were meeting a few people there for a birthday celebration and arrived a little after 5p. Shortly after meeting our party, our drink and appetizer were orders were taken. Our server was pleasant. A few more people arrived and our server came back to take our entree orders. Once the orders were placed there was a long wait before anyone in our party received their entrees. After what seemed like 45 minutes our orders came out.

I ordered a Club Sandwich on toasted wheat bread and received toasted white bread. A couple of people at my table ordered wings, one ordered bone-in wings and one ordered boneless wings. Most of our received their food but the two people who ordered the wings did not get their orders until about 15 minutes later, however, only the bone-in wings came out. The person who ordered the boneless waited an additional 20- 30 minutes before receiving their meal. Most of the people in our party were finishing their meals by this time.

When our server brought our checks, he asked if everything was alright. I said the person who ordered the boneless wings wanted to know if there was anything the manager would do since the order had pretty much just come out. He said he understood and that he had put the orders in together and he apologized.

After talking to his manager, our server told us that the manager said "if we were taking the wings we had to pay for them." So I asked him if the manager would offer a discount for the meal and our server said he would not.

I don't hold our server responsible for the meal coming out so late, he was very good at checking on us during our meals and made sure our drinks were refilled and that we had what we needed and I appreciate all his service and attentiveness to our table.

However, I am disappointed that the manager did not even come to speak with us regarding the delay in getting our orders.

It appears to me he or she is not concerned about his...

AWFUL! This is the worst Italian food I ever had. The salad was best part. Caesar salad-not much you can screw up, but they do not mix dressing, you must pour it on yourself. The lady (stranger sitting beside me) asked if the dressing tasted like Italian dressing v Caesar dressing-so not much too good with the dressing-- I had calamari that was very golden--aka very, very over cooked with a side of marinara that is more orange in color and did not look appetizing for marinara. Way over cooked. And a good kitchen chef/cook should not have let it leave the kitchen. I had manicotti with sausage and the sausages were plain sausages on the my plate beside the manicotti--like breakfast links on the pancake platter. One was black--it was burnt. Again, this never should have left the kitchen. I did not eat it. I cut up the other one and ate it plain--my option was the orange sauce still sitting on the calamari plate which also had the majority of my calamari still on the plate-- Let me state, I had no eaten all day, it was about 9p upon arrival and I was starving--so I ate half of everything--the too golden calamari and half my manicotti and a sausage. I left most on the plate- The manicotti was ok, not great. I will never go back. The waitstaff was fair--but I ordered after some other folks and my food came before theirs--they were not please with that & had to wait several minutes (maybe 10) before their meals arrived. The waitress apologized. Then it was different waitresses bringing me food and my check. Not sure where the original girl was. Again, I will never go back. Visiting the area, decided to go based on reviews...Ugh! Maybe the pizza is decent-do not know. What I had was gross...
