This place needs a good Service Manager. We have been to this place multiple times as this is one of the only restaurant on Terminal A at the Richmond airport. No doubt about it but the food here is really good.. They hit the spot every single time. My go-to food over here are the wings and quesadilla.
When it comes to service, I can probably rate them as one of the worst in my entire lifetime!! First and foremost, when you are waiting to get a table, they don't even acknowledge your presence. Second, when someone leaves and you grab a table, it takes them at least more than 5 minutes to come and clean the table.. and guess what, there are multiple servers there for sure.. What got me is last time, I had ordered two beers and some togo as we knew, we wouldn't get the food in time.. I also saw the bartender work on our order almost immediately and keep the glasses ready for the server to serve it to us. But guess what, it was more than 10 minutes but the glasses were just there.. Finally, I just walked to the bar and called my server and then grabbed the glasses myself.. I mean, if I am paying tips, I expect a little better service.. Now this experience has been consistent for sure..
Sadly, this is one of the only food establishment in that terminal which has a variety of options that I like and so even though we don't like the service, we invariably end up getting food over there when flying from Terminal A. Hope Richmond airport administration, introduces some more food options in...
Read moreJust left there today as this is the ONLY restaurant / bar outside of security at all of FLL. We actually took a shuttle from a different terminal to eat. The bar was closed. Not sure why. The food was great. Service was blah, but it met the need and we didn’t mind until… someone new came in and assumed we were just sitting there to pass time. Four in our party had eaten and I had JUST thrown away our food. She also said something about my son and another lady sitting at the closed bar. No one was allowed to sit at the bar because it was closed. Also said my son should not have been there because he was underage. I get that, but again, the bar was closed. AND we were sitting at a table with just 3 chairs we gathered as others left prior to us arriving + the high bar chair. This person that came in then loud talked to what I assume were subordinates about the need to tell people they cannot “lounge” in there and to tell them to leave. The subordinates then walked around apologizing to customers that were no longer eating and telling them they needed to leave. Oh, and during this time, unlike when we first arrive, no one was waiting for a place to sit. They really should be more appreciative of the customers. It was one of those experiences that makes you not want to return because of...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I arrived at 7:45am. Ordered food and drinks immediately. Took about 15 mins to get water, coffee and OJ. My husband asked for creamer. Waiter took another 20 mins to get that, and by then, his coffee was cold anyways. Still waiting for food, and it’s 8:30am. We ask the waiter if he has an ETA, and he asks us what we ordered because he never placed the ticket. He says it’ll be five mins. Keep in mind, we ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, and a breakfast sandwich, which should’ve taken 10 mins tops. It’s now 8:50am, and the waiter has dropped off the face of the planet. We try to get the bartenders attention to just cancel our order so we don’t miss our flight, and he flat out ignores us because the waiter says our food will be out soon. We’ve already witnessed two tables next to us receive food that they ordered about 40 mins after we did. Breakfast shows up at 9:05, and my husband’s order is wrong. Asked for a discount, and they said they didn’t charge us for the coffee and juice. So considerate. 🙄 We scarf down as much as we can in 5 mins because at this point, we will miss our flight....
