I am staying at my timeshare at Massanutten resort. I usually go to another location for breakfast but I went out for a late breakfast/brunch today and they were closed. So I found Crossroads Cafe on Google maps, they had great reviews so I decided to go there. It was a great decision. They are a nicely decorated laid back cafe. I got a homemade mushroom and onion quiche. It was one of the best quiches I have every had. It was fluffy and savory with a perfect flaky crust. My friend got a reuben sandwich, she let me taste it. It’s one of the best reubens I have ever had too. Their reuben sauce is out of this world. It was so good, I had to order my own. I also got a pumpkin spice latte. It was so much better then Starbucks pumpkin spice lattes. The staff is very friendly as well. The manager came out to check on how our food was and asked us if we needed anything else. They have amazing baked goods as well, including sweet potato pound cake, huge cookies, carrot cake, and peanut butter bars. I got a peanut butter bar for later. Their food is an A+ their coffee is an A + and their customer service is an A +. I am so happy the other place was closed, because Crossroads was a great find and I’ll go here every trip I make down to...
Read moreThe most delicious wedding food you will ever find!!!! We tasted item menus in December 2024 for an August 2025 reception. Christy Ann and Nicole (the owner) were so communicative and helpful! We ended up going with the honey balsamic chicken, French style green beans, veggie Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and rolls. Then we did 6 stuffed mushrooms and peppers for our vegetarian crowd. All of the food items were delivered and set up on time and were so so delicious. The guests could not stop talking about how they’ve never had wedding food this good. People went back for seconds and were too full for cake! Crossroads also did cupcakes that were a HUGE hit. We did a farewell brunch for those traveling in and crossroads cafe did a sausage egg and cheese casserole, blueberry French toast casserole, chicken salad croissants, pulled pork bbq sliders, and some assorted dips. Everything was delicious!! I am not typically a fan of chicken salad but it was so good I kept going back from more. Truly could not ask for a better caterer with a better food selection. If you want to get the best food and service for your wedding or event, you MUST do Crossroads Cafe. They will...
Read moreAmazing! Crossroads catered our wedding on 2/29/24, and we were so happy and impressed!
First off, the food is incredible! Nicole could give those famous TV chefs a run for their money, no joke. We got the parmesan-herb chicken, which all our guests loved! Also some of the best mac n' cheese, country style green beans, buffalo dip, and chicken salad any of us ever had, and that is saying a lot because our guests were all either big foodies or very picky! lol
They do creative appetizers, we also got berry soothers, which are a nice sweet treat without being too sugary or heavy. And they are very flexible! We wanted a cozy, warm, woodsy wedding, so they offered hot drinks like spiced cider and coffee too!
Service stood out too! We were impressed with how their staff worked with us to pin down a schedule, everyone was very accomidating! And our venue owner actually knew Nicole already, she has a stellar reputation, and as a life-long area resident of the Valley I am proud to echo that she's an amazing local business owner.
The only reason I didn't post food pics is because we inhaled it without thinking to...
