Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Virginia

Today I attempted to eat the most disgusting 'chicken strips' that I have ever encountered in my 53 years of life. I was unsuccessful. Imagine if you will, a long skinny flat chunk of breading filled with some sort of tasteless slimy goo that isn't even good enough to make a McNugget from. It was without a doubt one of the most grotesque things I've ever tried to eat in my life. My Son ordered a plain burger that was far from plain but not so far as to be good if one prefers the condiments and not nearly as good as any of the other fast food places according to my Son. When there are only two other customers in the facility (notice I did not call it a restaurant) and you still can't get a simple order correct even after acknowledging that you heard the request, I can only assume that you just don't care. The shakes were decent but not $6 worth of decent! Worst DQ I’ve been to. Poor customer service, extremely slow. (Edit to Explain) We walked in, with only one person in-front of us. One employee at the counter and one in the back, with one that came later (must’ve been on break). The lady in-front of us had to wait 5-10 minutes to place her order because the guy at the counter was making ice cream for another customer. The lady in the back was doing something, not related to any current orders. Next the counter employee had to make ice cream for the customer in-front of us. We waited another 5-10 minutes for this process before ordering. From the time we placed our order to the time when we had food was another 20 minutes (exact, based on receipt time). This location is dirty, staffed with non-English speaking workers, and not friendly. When I arrived, the two employees were sitting at a customer booth talking and playing on their cell phones. After standing at the counter, one begrudgingly got up to take my order. I ordered multiple items for the kids and extra sauces. The food was forgotten in the fryer, and they kept arguing about how many sauces I could receive. After calling to their attention that they were sitting at the table eating most likely for free (stealing from the store's owner), and yet trying to charge me for sauces, they quickly threw a bunch in my bag and proceeded to curse at me in Spanish amongst each other.

I speak Spanish.

I left and don't plan to come back. The people working here don't care - I wouldn't frequent...
