We ordered 12 pizzas for pickup today at 11:15am. My mom came to pick them up and apparently the power went out so the store could not cook the pizzas. We did not get a phone call to let us know of the issue. I guess thereâs no backup generator. The store told her they would send the order to the Tysons Dominos and my mom drove there. Later I got a phone call from a Dominos and they left a voicemail asking me to call. I noticed the voicemail about 10 minutes later since we were hosting a party and I wasnât glued to my phone. I stepped away from the party to call the store back. There was a phone tree to reach a person, then I was put on hold. I learned then that they knew we wanted 12 pizzas, but they didnât have any of the order details so they could not get started cooking them. I asked to confirm their address and they provided a Maple Avenue location in Vienna (not the Tysons location where my mom went). I took a screenshot of my email confirmation and sent it via text message to the Maple Ave location (since I wasnât about to read off the details of each pizza over the phone). 55 minutes after the scheduled pickup and three locations later, my mom had our order and headed to our party where hungry people were waiting.
Additionally, the pizzas were prepaid online, but they made my mom pay when she picked them up (I assume my credit card will be refunded). She was also charged more in Vienna than for our original order which is frustrating, but probably not worth my time to try and chase down the differenceâŠ
So we ordered pizza for the convenience, but this experience was far from convenient. No apology/courtesy discount or offer to...
Read moreVery disappointed. My experience with other Domino's throughout the country has generally been very good. This Domino's is the exception to that. Delivered two different pizzas (pepperoni and sausage; chicken, bacon and tomatoes on white sauce) were both quite disappointing. The pizzas were NOT worth the price, and this Domino's offers few attractive coupons and doesn't honor coupons that other stores allow. For example, in several other Domino's, if you order online a Large Specialties pizza, and then get a second one, there will be a discount on the second one. Not so at the Great Falls Domino's. The toppings were stingy, the pizza lacked flavor, and the pizza with the white sauce had absolutely no sauce on it, even though we asked for extra sauce. It was obvious that the pizzas were thrown together with little care. If the pizzas had been half the price, my review would have been possibly a 2, but for $24 these pizzas were totally inadequate. This will not be my go-to...
Read moreAbsolute garbage delivery time and service. Attempted to deliver our order once and ended up delivering to the wrong house. We didnât realize this happened until we called an hour after we placed our order because it just didnât show up at all. We spoke to manager and he apologized profusely and gave us the order for free... we figured it was an honest mistake, so we tried them again another time, much to our regret. Pizza took an hour and a half to get to us. We called after the hour mark and was told that the driver was lost and would be there in â5 minutesâ.... he was âliterally almost to our houseâ.... 15 minutes later we call again and get the same story. Another 15 minutes later the guy shows up. We refused the pizza and will never order from this location ever. God help anyone who attempts to get...
