Don Pedro 2 — Restaurant in Virginia

When someone asks me about Mexican food in my area of residence, this is the first place I tell them about. I’ve been a long time customer of this restaurant, and Don Pedro 2 has been incredibly consistent with both service and food throughout the years, whether I dine in or do a takeout order. The meals I order are always very fairly priced and taste great. Props to the owners for getting to know their customers too, David always gives my brother and I a handshake when he sees us and asks us how we’ve been. My wife and I showed up on Halloween for drinks and dinner. When we were seated it wasn't a welcome feeling; no smiles or greetings.

Once we ordered our drinks we began eating the Chip and Salsa, the second bite I took had a large HAIR on/in it. I immediately lost my appetite, having someone else hair in my mouth did that I guess. My wife and I left to go somewhere else.

First Impressions are important, had they been friendly and welcoming I'm sure I would return, eventually. But given the full experience we had we will choose other restaurants when we want drinks or Mexican food.

This was my 4th time coming here. Last night my wife and I went . They were busy. They sat us quickly. Unfortunately there was throw up all over the table floor and the table was still dirty. Probably one of the grossest experiences I have an ever experienced in a restaurant. Obvousily my wife and I got up as soon as we realized. Not a single person from the restaurant said anything to us. The staff just looked at each other. Needless to say we walked out.
