Very disappointed with this location. I’ve been to the other locations over the years and always find something amazing. Perhaps the items were amazing here also but I’ll never know because of the extremely rude customer service I encountered. I refuse to spend my money where I’m not treated respectfully. My sister and I went in, the store looked deserted and then I noticed the woman sitting further back. She verbalized that she was cold and had a space heater nearby. We inquired about a few items and she ignored some of my sister’s questions, then appeared as if she wanted us to hurry up. I finally began my order and she rudely asked if I was going to get more than one item. I said yes so she grabbed a box and the tissue paper. I asked for a cinnamon bun but she reached for the smaller one and I asked if I could have a different one. She stood back and huffed saying she already put her hand on it. I immediately took offense to her stance and tone and she started saying “what do you want?” Now that I put my hand on this one. I told her I don’t want anything from someone who speaks to customers like this. She said, “so you’re not getting anything?” I said absolutely not because of the attitude and poor customer service. I was really excited about visiting there and after recently having surgery it was going to be my treat. Instead My sister and I left and found better service and great desserts elsewhere. Thanks for nothing! I hope no one else has to experience this. If you don’t like all customers, then customer service is not the best job for you. PS…we were the same race, so hopefully, it was not a racial issue.
I will travel further from home if I ever want Williams...
Read moreMy husband and I went into this bakery for the first time last week. It was a Friday afternoon around 1p.m. and we were the only customers. There were two female employees behind the counter, and I was eyeing all of the items in the case. Truthfully, they didn't look all that appealing, kind of indifferently displayed, but I didn't want to turn around and walk out. Neither woman greeted us or smiled or made suggestions. I picked out about five different pastries. When we got home we brewed some coffee and started eating the glazed doughnuts. We couldn't finish them. They were slightly stale but beyond that they just weren't good. The chocolate frosted brownie was just too sweet. Now I love my goodies but I expect a bakery to have outstanding brownies with a good chocolate flavor. The chocolate eclair was the best but again, a little old tasting. I could overlook the pastries not being fresh and chalk it up to them just having an "off " day if the customer service had been decent but they honestly acted like they couldn't care less if we patronized them or not. So I probably won't go again. I don't indulge in sweets very often but when I do I...
Read moreI got my wedding cake from Williams Bakery! We went in a few months prior and had some cake taste testing... even though I secretly already had my mind made up. This cake is very unique in that it is more dense, like pound cake. I got Almond flavored with chocolate icing, and asked if they could decorate it like tree stumps (as our wedding was centered around trees and natural colors...) It turned out absolutely wonderful!!! They helped me decide on the size of the cake and everything, but weren't too pushy on swaying me different directions! I was even able to change my order a few weeks prior to the wedding when I found out we would have significantly less people than expected... we still had left overs from no-shows, but I'm not...
