Love their donuts. But the guy who normally works here needs some customer service training BAD. A little over a month ago I made an online order. Came in everything was made perfect, but it didnât have a lid on it (theyâre behind the counter where they work). There were 2 guys working. As I was standing and waiting one of them looked at me, then proceeded to the register to clock out. The other guy was making donuts and gave me a few side eyes. Neither one ever spoke to me in the 10-15 mins I stood there only waiting for a lid. While standing there and observing, the guy was rude to this lady after she let him know he gave her the wrong coffee as she was scrambling trying to take care of her kid. Then brought up an order for a man waiting for his order and completely ignored me standing at the counter. I eventually left putting napkins on top of my food, went down the road to DG and got some foil. Came back in last week with my grandmother, we were both just wanting some donuts and sheâs heard me talk about how good they are. We show up and the same guy was working there. They were finishing up an online order then came to help us. He was very very rude and passive aggressive while we were ordering. He had a attitude about which ones we were picking, tapping the computer so hard to where you can hear it and the computer was shaking. My grandmother asked for a coffee and he proceeded to let her know heâs not good at making coffee (which I appreciate the honesty) but he didnât have to be so rude about it and become so angry. I just told her in front of him he would get one somewhere else. When I went to order my donuts under the same order he got extremely angry and started huffing and puffing and acting like he was busy all of a sudden. When this is his job he chose. An older gentleman comes behind us in line once weâre finishing up. Not sure what happened but the guy working seemed extremely annoyed and the older gentleman ended up walking out. Two women came in as he started our order and let the other girl know whoâs working, what to do. He proceeded to get annoyed with these women too and ends up getting all fussy and turning off the open sign in front of all of us and turns the women down from ordering. Donuts did end up good but this guy made us and others EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The first time I came in I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he mightâve had a rough day. But when you act like this towards everyone multiple times, it seems to be more personality. I just hope duck donuts will find someone better and more enjoyable to work here...
Read moreWe've had a great experience with this place in the past, but our visit this morning was a major letdown. We placed an online order for pickup with a 20-minute ETA, which seemed reasonable. However, when we arrived to collect our order, the staff didn't verify its accuracy. It wasn't until we got home that we discovered several toppings were missing. We returned to the store with the receipt and the box of doughnuts, pointing out the missing items.
Unfortunately, the staff member we spoke with became argumentative. When I mentioned the missing toppings, he claimed they were out of Reese's Pieces. I highlighted the other missing items, but he incorrectly identified the doughnuts and insisted that everything was correct. In reality, we were missing toppings like Girl Scout Thin Mints and multiple drizzles. Only one doughnut was corrected in the end.
To make matters worse, the staff member seemed distracted, and it appeared he was more interested in flirting with his coworker than resolving our issue. Needless to say, we were disappointed and frustrated by the experience. And to add a disturbing twist, as we were sitting at home eating the donuts, we found a hair that was strikingly out of place - a solid black hair, which was particularly jarring for our blonde family. The discovery left us even more unsettled...
Read moreI ordered 2 dozen of the duck donuts the other day and this was the 2nd time I had ordered from there..I did a custom dozen and i did a random assortment. At a whopping $28.54 a dozen, I was shocked to get them the way that I did. Not only did the delivery driver leave these on my front porch without following the delivery instructions but it was raining as well so he just threw the boxes on the porch and left. I didn't know he was there until I looked out the window. But when I got them inside I opened the box and expected to see some beautifully decorated donuts but what I saw was not what I was expecting. The donuts themselves were deflated like they were not given the correct time to cool before boxing them up. They looked as if a child had decorated them and they looked like they had been played with. The toppings were minimal and messy. I was disappointed as I spent $49 I'm just glad that i didn't order these for an event. I would have been embarrassed to serve these to anyone. I are a few of them but threw away around 45 of them. It was a waste of my time and ny money. I won't be doing...
