I was here for the first and last time today. The only reason I went there is because I wanted breakfast at 12 noon. This place needs a thorough cleaning. I should have walked out when I saw how dirty it was. My table was dirty, the floor was dirty, the rugs were filthy. I guess it's a husband and wife who owns & works there. The lady waits on tables and takes carry out orders. She cannot speak very good English, so it was hard to take my order. I ordered a milk and she said coffee with cream? Then she said chocolate milk? It's in the cooler over there. So I just got a chocolate milk, lol. The food was ok and definitely not worth the money (about $18 including the tip). I got the french toast combo. The french toast was old school with more eggs & less toast. The bacon was cooked crisp like I requested and was about the only thing worth eating. The syrup bottle was disgusting and looked like they had been refilling it for 20 years (see pic). After I ordered, they got busy. Two people weren't enough to handle it. Don't waste your time &...
Read moreMy mother and I stopped in one Saturday at lunchtime. The bake case was gross, the food inside clearly greasy and old. The cookies were strange humped oblongs, the bread soggy and pinched. Mom ordered an Italian club. I asked what came on the veggie wrap--the menu said "lettuce, provolone, lots of veggies, wrapped in a tortilla." I finally got through to the ancient Chinese lady who didn't speak English who was working there, and she said peppers, onions, and mushrooms. I said I would have the veggie wrap but with no mushrooms. She wrote it down: Veggie wrap, no mushrooms--I could see her pad.
The food comes. The Italian club is greasy, oily, and discolored. The veggie wrap is actually a runny veggie omelette. I try to explain to the lady that I didn't order an omelette (I am allergic to eggs). She walks away and comes back with a veggie burrito that is 90 percent egg. Reader, did the veggie wrap description include egg? No, it did not.
Foul disgusting...
Read moreWent here from a friend's recommendation, got the Philly Cheese Steak Wrap and was not disappointed! Specifically speaking on that sandwich, it's made with the good, white cheese (if you eat Philly's regularly you know this is the best kind) and even comes wrapped in waxed paper which may turn off some people, but gave it a more "authentic" feel in my book. The combo is a bag of chips and a drink and it came to a decent price altogether. I also enjoyed how they were obviously regulars who the owner had personable relationships with, making this a great "hometown" business to give a try! I did also try a chocolate chip cookie since I heard great reviews about them and it was very good! Give it a try sometime! (I got mine to-go so the picture below is just for reference of what the food...
