We recently dined here with a group of five and were quite surprised by the final bill. For a meal consisting mainly of pide and lahmacun, over $200 felt unreasonably high, especially with an added 20% service charge. While the food was decent, the pricing did not reflect the value we received. Unfortunately, the overall experience left us disappointed. I would recommend checking prices in advance if you plan to visit. Thank you for your response. I understand that quality ingredients (probably from restaurant depot)and good service(only 2 other tables were accupied) come at a cost, and I respect that. However, my feedback was based on a genuine feeling that the overall value didnât align with the final price we paid. While your lahmacun may be larger than average, paying more than $200 for a simple meal for fiveâmainly consisting of pide and lahmacunâfelt excessive, especially with a 20% service charge added on top.
I also want to clarify that my intention is never to leave negative reviews without reason. I always try to be fair and only share my honest experience so others can make informed decisions, just as I do when I read reviews myself.
Restaurants thrive not just on food quality, but also on how they handle feedback. I hope my comments are taken as...
Read moreWhat a lovely place! One time eating here for dinner and it now became an instant favorite. We spent a little time in Turkey many years ago, and have always missed it. We decided to try this for dinner tonight, and we left in love. Next time I will take pictures of the food. The food was so delicious. My husband got the Branzino Fillet, which was perfect and delicious. I got the Efesus Chicken which was so good and comforting. Then we shared the Katmer dessert and it was just the best ending to dinner and maybe the best thing ever. So heavenly! Portions were excellent, not too much food.
This is their second location, they also run Anatolian Bistro in Herndon, which we have yet to try. The family who runs it and who served us tonight were just everything we loved about Turkey, the kindest people who serve good food. They were welcoming, pleasant, helpful, and so friendly. We very much look forward to returning and...
Read moreIt was a slight chilly afternoon and with a craving for hot food we wanted to try this new place. Cozy place very friendly staff!!! The bread wrapped in the cloth was so welcoming but by the time it reached the table they were not warm but the taste was good so not complaining much đ .
The chicken dish was very delicious the creamy eggplant paste yum yum yum a must try dish.
The shrimp shish was the next dish we ordered with a spicy twist as I prefer spicy food. It was not at all spicy but the spice rub was very flavorful and I do think they should serve with that spice đ . Was lil disappointed with the quantity as you can see on the plate plus in the menu it said comes with rice but they said it is not served with rice. Iâm sure my disappointment was very visible on my face that the staff got me complimentary rice.
Do check while ordering what sides it comes...
