Just went here for my first time - had a chicken bowl with rice and all the vegetables with the regular Yum Yum Sauce. Also had the spring rolls and gyoza. Parking was easy - plenty of spots right by the shop Ordered online - doing so was super easy Food was ready before the estimated 20 minutes and everything looked freshly made. When I came to pick up the food staff was super friendly so appreciated that On the food - all of it was fantastic. Spring rolls I think are made completely from scratch including the outer shell and you can tell. Rolls have a great crunch on the outside and chewiness inside. The sauce that comes with it is also fantastic. Rolls themselves are also great. Gyoza - same thing. All was great. Sauce was awesome as was the gyoza itself. Chicken bowl was fantastic. Holy cow. Loved the vegetables with it and everything seemed super fresh. I think the teriyaki sauce went on the rice? Saw some sauce on the rice when I went digging in the bowl. Chicken was also super tender. Rice was excellent too. The Yum Yum sauce on top was also really good. Portion size I think was good and the ratio of meat/vegetables/rice was also nice (not too much rice like can happen at cheaper fast food restaurants where you get a ton of rice and like no protein). Prices to me were super reasonable as well.
I'll be trying the Spicy version and the ginger sauces next. Also want to try the steak bowl as well. Would get the chicken bowl, gyoza, and spring rolls all again. Will definitely be coming back again. Will be looking to try the...
Read moreVery exiting to see this location finally open. Staff is super friendly, reggae music playing (+100 points), and the food was FANTASTIC. I love hibachi and can’t always get easy access to it. Chicken and streak is tender and moist, vegetables were cooked perfectly and both white and fried rice was spot on. We only had one protein option per bowl but we did leave you can mix/match different proteins. Three sauce options: regular yum yum, spicy yum yum, and a ginger-based hibachi sauce. All sauces served on the side.
We also tried the spring rolls with a sweet & sour sauce and the karaage (fried chicken bites) with a garlic Mayo sauce (guessing). Both were excellent.
As of right now, there are 6 two-person tables in front of the ordering window and three picnic tables that are on a plot of land zoned for a new retail establishment. These are the only dine-in options, so be prepared with either wait for a small number of tables, or consider carry out. Matter of fact, the kitchen was doing an excellent job efficiently managing both dine-in and carry out orders.
I’m hoping the business takes off, and they can eventually take over the neighboring “antiques store” for a larger...

Yum Yum Hibachi is a gem nestled in our local area, offering a stellar dining experience right from their takeout counter with open seating. As a frequent diner in DC and Fairfax, I was pleasantly surprised by the out-of-this-world food choices, generous portions, and reasonable pricing this place offers.
What truly sets Yum Yum apart is their exceptional customer service, led by the fantastic General Manager, Jason. It’s heartwarming to know that this restaurant is owned and operated by high school friends, bringing a personal touch to every dish they serve.
I wholeheartedly recommend Yum Yum Hibachi to anyone seeking a memorable culinary adventure. You won’t be disappointed! And to Jason, please know that Ray highly recommends your establishment.
While everything on the menu is top-notch, I would love to see a super spicy sauce option added for those seeking an extra kick. Nonetheless, every dish promises a unique experience that you won’t find elsewhere.
In summary, Yum Yum Hibachi delivers on its promise of exceptional food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Don’t hesitate to...
