I was looking for a panaderia close to me ... I recently moved to the Reston area .... Reading reviews this place called my attention ... Not for the good comments, but the opposite!
A lady said she kept going to this place even tho they were rude and racist ... My question was ... How good the bread has to be if you keep going back after they didnt treat you right??? .... I drove there (even tho it was 25 min out of my way) .... I got there and i realized i forgot my wallet at the house! Well, no bread for me ... I was not gonna go back home and then drive back! Ha! Nooo!!! ..... But a lightbulb went off! I a called the number and i asked if they take Google payments (mobile payment) and they say yes!!! That was a positive, I thought! Then i walked in and i grab a basket and started picking up bread .... Everything looked and smelled good! ... Then after getting everything i needed ... I asked the lady.... Do have bollillos? And she looked at me and said ... No we don't ... Then I asked how about pan frances and she said yes! .... I didn't actually order any .... But it was just asking to prove a point to the lady who commented that they were rude and racist! I don't think so! Bolillos and pan francƩs are the same thing ... She's from el salvador therefore they have different words for some stuff! She was very polite! With a great smile! Very attentive!
I got home and tried everything I got from them ... And let me tell you! It wonderful!! I love it!!! My favorite panaderia!!! Not only good pan and friendly service .... But they are also keeping up with technology!!! I love it!!!!
Keep up the good work!!! I will definitely recommend you guys and you'll see me soon!!!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas kicked out for bringing our necessary service animal inside. Staff was rude and didnāt care what we had to say even when trying to show the documentation. Remove the sign if this is incorrect.
EDIT: since I cannot directly reply to your reply, I must do so this way- I will try to follow your response: The ADA actually does not require service animals to wear visible identification like a vest, harness or ID tag. This can bring attention to the persons with disabilities which is very uncomfortable and makes situations worse. Could they wear visible identifiers, sure, thatās on each individualās decision. It is embarrassing when others see us and point us out in public because of the visible identifier. It is also embarrassing when staff, like yours, completely ignore us, not even trying to listen. We were explaining it is a service animal and we have digital documentation to show, and your staff kept repeating, loudly and aggressively, āno dogs, donāt care, no, no, leave now, donāt care, leave nowā etc, talking over us, in front of other customers, then turning their backs, walking away and refusing service by verbally saying, āno service.ā I understand trying to protect your business, but please familiarize yourself with ADA regulations, and maybe look into re-training your staff, or getting a new one completely. We are simply giving a heads up to others with disabilities and service animals. Iām glad you watched video surveillance to see how your staff treats and speaks to customers- and by the looks of previous reviews, this seems to have been going...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have nothing to complain about the baked goods but the staff is ABSOLUTELY horrible. Im not one to give bad reviews or sensitive about race or anything like that, I have been going here for a while, at first when i would ask for ābolilloā (im of mexican decent) or when my husband would ask for āpirujuā (both words meaning rolled bread or sourdough bread) they would tell me that they didnt have any, they WOULD ALWAYS say that and give me a horrible attitude, i let it go, kept going and soon my husband found out that he had to go without me and ask for āpan francesā all of that didnt bother me as long as i got my bread but then i drew the line and had to do something at least a bad review when i witnessed it happen to other people. I was buying bread that they put out (because they never put out the sourdough rolls) and witnessed as some hard working men (dressed in their muddy work clothes, probably just getting off of work and hungry) asked for some bolillos only to be told, rudely, that they did not have any and sent away, when they left and the next customers asked if they had pan frances, they brought some out and gave it to them......... that is just HORRIBLE and racist. There is another bakery we found that is WAAAAY better and friendlier so goodbye...
