We were looking for a Mexican restaurant near the concert venue we were going afterwards and I saw good reviews for this restaurant. What a find! They have dishes I haven't seen offered at other Mexican restaurants. They do not skimp on ingredients like spices. I ordered a pina agua fresca and it far surpassed my expectations; it was frothy and fresh tasting and not too sweet. Some places seem to use drink mixes or purchased beverages, but this tasted homemade. Everything was tasty, fresh and of generous portions. Love this hidden gem. It is part mini grocery/tienda and part restaurant. We went here on a Tuesday night and it was just us. The waitress came over and promptly served us. We ordered the guacamole which was freshly made and the best because for once it was not too salty unlike other places! We ordered three tacos— steak, chicken, and chorizo. This is a fantastic Mexican restaurant very authentic and rich in flavor. I have tried so far their chilaquiles, flautas and Gorditas and WOW every time it's the same flavor . Definitely one of my new favorite spots to come and bring mu family and friends. The owners are so sweet and welcoming their little tiendita is amazing they have a lot of Hispanic items .
