Excellent dining choice in Lexington. I took my family here just the other day for a lunch and things have changes since my last visit probably 4+ months ago. They have expanded their seating area into the adjacent space and it has made a huge difference. Much better spacing between tables and the area is well lit and nicely done. I don't recall the menu last time but it seems like there are more choices. Even if its not new, there are a lot of choices at Gina's. We had mozzarella sticks for an appetizer, which were very good and had a great crunch. For mains we had an Angelina sub, Steak & Cheese Special sub, Garlic Parmesan Boneless Wings, and a Fish & Chips from the daily specials list. Every item was prepared well and tasted great. It was a tough decision on what to get since there was so many options. We'll definitely be back as there are many menu items I was considering. Overall, this is a great option for dining out in Lexington for good food at a very reasonable cost.

We ordered take out from Gina's, order was ready in 15-20 mins. Restaurant was very clean and we were greeted right away by very friendly staff. We ordered a 16" onion and pepperoni pizza, a regular calzone, and a slice of limoncello cake. Everything was excellent!!! My husband said it was the best pizza he has had in a long time. Sauce was delicious, crust perfect! The calzone was everything a calzone should be! Dough was tender, filling was plenty and cheesy, and the ham delicious. The cake was a wonderful treat to share. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the delicious selections. Next time we are in the area I think we will dine-in, will definitely eat here again!

HIDDEN 5 STAR GEM IN A STRIP MALL On a recent visit to Lexington from New Orleans we stopped overnight and had an incredible experience. A friend recommended a dish from Gina’s called Seafood Cioppiono. This dish is a classic with steamed clams, shrimp, mussels and bay scallops over linguine with a light but hearty red sauce with white wine and spices. We’re chefs from New Orleans and know something about food. This dish is the best meal we’ve had at a restaurant in about 2 years. Don’t expect linen tablecloths and fine china… believe it or not it’s an upscale pizza place. DO NOT MISS THIS TREAT.

It’s just okay. We ordered to go online. Everything was packaged nicely. My husband said the establishment looked clean. He got lasagna “mediocre”. I got calamari, it was okay. Nothing struck me as “homemade” other than the lasagna. He also ordered tiramisu and I ordered the cheesecake. Both small portions for $6.99. Neither seemed homemade. No rum in the tiramisu and the NY cheesecake was more creamy than crumbled. The cheesecake had a weird aftertaste almost like soured milk. I tossed it. The salads had wilted and brown lettuce. Both went in the bin. One salad had the wrong dressing even though the correct dressing was on the receipt. No olives in the salad? The idea of the dressing packets in the salad seemed like a food born illness waiting to happen. Someone needs to stop that. The bread sticks were odd. I’d be curious to know if they prepare the dough for their pizza on the premises. No utensils/napkins were included or Parmesan cheese. Might be a nice touch to include them for to go orders. My husband says I have high standards. So keep that in mind when you read my review. Also keep in mind I come from an Italian family. We still do the feast of 7 fishes after midnight mass. We grow the tomatoes in our sauce and we make cheesecake that’s at least 5 inches high just...

The food was alright and service was decent, but BE VERY careful at the checkout. For one they don’t give you your tab after you eat so you can’t look it over to verify your order or prices. They punch it in once you step up to the register and it’s done quickly so no time to review it again. Second once they ring you up and you go ahead and pay. After your charge goes through and you get your receipt, you will see a fee at the bottom for $1.60 for a NON-CASH payment if you are using anything besides cash to pay with. There is no sign posted of a processing fee anyway and they don’t advise you of this fee. There is no bank fee that costs no $1.60 per card transaction in the first place. If there is a fee it’s under a $1.00. So there unfair and unknown practice by them is straight up wrong. I don’t know any other eateries around here that does this either. We goto Franks pizza and they don’t do it either. So just BEWARE when you go...
