Gino's Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia

First time we ordered from them, we arrived to find a large group of employees behind the counter, all looked like teenagers. The total for my order came out to be $10 more then the price I was expecting, so I asked why the price was higher. The kid behind the counter just stared blankly at me. I asked again and he typed something into the cash register, shrugged his shoulders, and just looked completely clueless. I looked around at the other employees standing around, but they all had the same look on their faces.

Pizza ended up being quite good... not great, but quite good. However, after that baffling experience, I swore I'd never go back. Dumbest employees I've ever seen.

A month later, my girlfriend talked me into trying them again. I agreed, but told her she needed to order this time. She called up, gave the guy her order, and the guy said "ok, can I have a name?". She gave it to him, and he then said "what would you like to order?"

"I already told you my order", she said.

"What did you want?", he replied.

She was shocked, saying "are you serious? Do you really want me to repeat my entire order?"

There was silence, and she finally hung up, looked at me and said "you're right, they're complete idiots".

We've never tried again... plenty of other places to go... not worth the hassle of dealing with people that are truly stupid...

I have been eating Gino’s pizza for about a little more than a year. Their pizza is Delicioso good. It brings me back to when I grew up in The New York style and taste of pizza. The crust of the pizza is very important and they have it down pack to a “T” Once they hand me my pizza pie and I get outside and smell the aroma coming from the box it takes me back home to the The Bronx. The pizza is fresh , the mozzarella cheese is right and the sausage is perfect. When you walk through the doors of Gino’s Pizza the atmosphere is welcoming and they are always polite. This is a family business that is on display when you enter the establishment.. You witness stair steps of a family generation working together to make really good tasting pizza and other delicious food.. I highly recommend a visit to...

Terrible! I ordered a steak and cheese sub. When I got home they gave me the wrong sub. I called and spoke with the owner who was extremely rude. He told me that I ordered a chicken sub and he didn't make a mistake. He never offered to fix the order. He continued to argue with me and said "look sweetheart that's what you ordered". The best part is he then hung up on me! Unbelievable! Worst customer experience I have ever had! We will never order from them again. We use to order from them on the weekends and for party's.
