Hardee’s — Restaurant in Virginia

I am a pale skinned Native American woman and I went into this location with my 2 children. I went to place my order, I let my daughter who is 9 place hers first and she asked for the 2 piece chicken strip kids meal, she was told "we ain't got no more pick something else", my son who is 8 years old placed his order while my daughter decided what else she wanted and I placed my husband and my order. After we ordered we sat down at a table to wait for our order. While we were waiting the gentleman who ordered behind us (who was black) ordered a 10 piece chicken strip meal and the worker (who was also black) said ok, what else would you like with that. My daughter looked at me and started to cry because of what she was told. While we were waiting all of the workers acted like they couldn't careless that we were in the store and acted like we were a burden because we came in to get food. It took us 45 minutes to receive our food. In that 45 minutes two workers were behind the counter eating chips, one girl who was not even a worker was behind the counter pouring herself a drink, a couple other workers were whispering to each other and making nasty remarks about myself and my 2 children and laughing about it (all of the workers were black). When we did eventually receive our food, we decided to leave because the atmosphere was so hostile. We decided to take our food to the car and eat it, when we got to the car my daughter and son could not even bite into their burgers because they were so hard, all of our fries were cold and my husbands and my ham and cheese sandwiches were smashed. It was a complete waste of $38.01. My family used to enjoy coming to Hardees but now that we have been racially profiled, treated like trash and ignored, we will no longer be eating at Hardees. I will not be recommending Hardees to...

4 HOURS TO COOK CHICKEN.Went to this hardee's ordered an 8 piece chicken & chicken was so old & dry l almost broke a tooth on the wing I tried to eat. The batter on chicken had a strong flavor of the oil it was cooked in which over powered any taste of the chicken which could have been fried a second time to appear fresh & would explain why the breading was too hard to eat and the heavy oil taste. We asked for some fresh chicken and was told that chicken was just cooked...Fresh chicken is not dried out to the point the meat is no longer the color chicken. Of course there was some attitude coming from an employee and we were told that it would be 4 hours before we could get any fresh chicken cooked because she had a 40 pc order and 2 fryers REALLY. This was at 6:30 pm with 2 customers in the entire restaurant. While this conversation was taking place at the counter another couple came in to eat heard this conversation they apparently wanted chicken and decided to leave in disbelief of what the employee said to my husband about a 4 hour wait. We know because we were parked next to each other & spoke in the parking lot. So we were told at 6:30 we couldn't get fresh chicken until 10:30 pm...isn't Hardee's closing up at that time LOL. Any way l have worked in a chicken restaurant and managed other large scale kitchens in my career as a Sous chef...4 hours? tell that foolishness to somebody else Hardee's employees on Parham Road...This is why Hardee's can't keep up with the other fast food giants in the industry..so we got our money back and spent it elsewhere....

I went on 9/28/24 to grab a quick breakfast before my next client around 11:10am. I didn't deceive my order until after 11:35am. There were only three guests in front of me inside the restaurant. There were two kids screaming and fighting over a toy in dining area. I looked around but didn't see an adult with them. This went on for several minutes. Then one of the kids ran across the top of the tables. The other guests and I were appalled. Finally, I get to the front to place my order but the cashier (who a later found out was the manager/white girl) left from behind the counter to give the kids a whopping. Omg! Why were her bad kids at work! I have never in my life seen this level of unprofessionalism. My anxiety was on 10 by this time. After the whooping he sat in the restaurant screaming to the top of his lungs! Then she went to discipline him again and put him outside. One of the guys behind asked if she could take our orders. She said I'm only taking two orders at a time. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. I left stressed and didn't have time to eat my breakfast before my client. I'm sure having your two young kids at work is a liability for the restaurant and I can't believe this is allowed. It was not clean in there either. And a few weeks ago ants were all over the soda machine. I will no longer order from...
