Hardee’s — Restaurant in Virginia

Wow, where in the world do I start with this review? For one, please fire every manager working there, they have no control of their staff! I went inside because the drive-through was long. As soon as I walked in there was this stench coming from somewhere, kind of smell like a wet basement. The inside of the store sort of looks like the inside of a run down off the highway gas station, the drink station was horrible, nasty stains everywhere. if I would have stayed longer, I probably could have seen a roach or two.

Side note, the staff are actually pretty friendly, not the cleanest looking people, kind of look like prisoners on work release, but their attitude is decent.

After I received my food, I proceeded to exit the restaurant, right outside of the door, I mean 3 feet in front of the door, a worker with his uniform on was smoking a cigarette, he was so close the smoke hit my face as soon as I opened the door. He didn't try to hide it, move to the side or anything. What if I had my small children with me? That was unacceptable. But this wasn't it. As I was started my vehicle up, the girl that took my order appeared in my rearview mirror, she sat down on the side curb, a foot next to the drive-through lane, and lights a cigarette. So the customers that were pulling up, would get welcomed by her and her smoke. I know these things sound wild, so I took pictures to back my story up. Please...

I stopped by this Hardee’s drive-through to order breakfast. The girl taking the orders was incredibly nasty, rude, and confrontational for absolutely no reason. It was uncalled for and unexpected that I was caught unawares. I eventually drove off without ordering because I didn’t want what I perceived to be an emotionally unstable person with a chip on her shoulders spitting in my food. I went next door to McDonald’s and ordered my breakfast with no hassle or incident. I’d rather pay more to avoid a negative experience. Hardee’s needs to start hiring people with basic human courtesy. Needless to say, wild horses won’t drag me to that place again-I don’t need some half-wit insulting me because I want to find out if there’s a kids breakfast menu! Very dirty floor mats in much need of repair, floor drain cover in mens bathroom not fixed to the floor. Slip hazard. Dirty restroom, very dirty parking lot with trash all over. Dirty work out employee t-shirts. Very slow service at cashier. Did not ask to upsize meals. Ham sandwich was very flat and did not look like picture displayed on the menu. Could not hear each other over fan blade for air supply constantly rubbing up against something. Dirty air supply or exhaust diffuser in middle of ceiling in dining area. Ketchup dispenser ran out of ketchup. Employees do not seem to care to check or refill stations. Multiple boxes needed to be taken to trash dumpster at back door of kitchen.
