L&B's Pizzeria & Sports Bar — Restaurant in Virginia

Over the last few months or less, I've been here a few times. I came here in the 00s around five to ten times and stopped for quite a while because it wasn't really the right venue for me and some of the people back then did make me feel awkward or unwelcome like this one security guard who refused to believe I was 26 but I really was. He even said "You're lucky I don't have scissors right now." My license was real and it was very disturbing I had to experience this. So anyway I come back and again it's not my scene but it's within walking distance from my family's home. I've been through lot in my life (i.e. learning disabilities from a probable rare disorder that also caused my sternum to be bent and high myopia etc., I also know I have symptoms of obvious cancer like lymphoma for ex.) I've tried getting help but it's been hard for me. When you have little money and you have to deal with bias from people because of your health and appearance, it makes it hard to stay strong. I'm just letting the chips fall where they may and living my life. I look like a young Hispanic girl but I'm Not. I'm not of those things. I'm part Filipino, English and German ancestry and I turned 43 recently on the 13th and of course I was born on a Friday so I clearly dont have luck. It may have been a month but I'm still upset that Vanessa the manager said "No! She can't be 40!" about me when I said I got one of my canes as a 40th birthday gift. My 40th was three years ago! I'm 43 this year and YES I was an 80s KID BABY. I dont owe anyone anything. People will believe wht they want. She also looks YOUNG too yet she tells everyone she has an 18 year old son. I believe her and I believe she's German. She said she finds it very unfair when people Dont Believe Her yet she strongly did Not believe me. Ive been through a lot and stick to myself because of it. Its unfortunate, it's a waste of time for me to come bck here. Its a decent place otherwise but their music selection isn't great and I do like old school 80s, 70s, 60s etc but I know the younger gens need to listen to...

After deciding for a pizza night (tonight), I started browsing for good pizza places in the neighborhood and began checking out customers’ rating. I was pleased to +4 rating for this place and opted to order. Pizza Bianca sounded a good choice therefore ordered large pizza costing 20$. After about 40 minutes, Yelp site notified that the pizza is ready for pickup. As I arrived the store, lady at the counter asked me to wait until she is done with her task. After few minutes, she was finished and asked for my order. I informed the lady respectfully that I had ordered & paid for pizza Bianca. She insisted that my order was through door dash, I didn’t argue. Anyway, she quickly got my pizza and passed on to me. I was very excited as the box was quite warm, pizza appeared to be just coming out from the oven. There is only 5-6 minutes auto ride from store to home. As soon as I opened the box, looked at pizza - I was terribly disappointed as pizza appeared to be not fully cooked. I kept my patience to taste to form an opinion. The taste was even worse than it looked. I would hate to not eat and throw out the pizza but I may have to. I hope the owner or manager of this restaurant check out this review and take corrective action. I wish, I didn’t to provide negative feedback but I had to share my experience. well let me tell you I have eaten here for years most of the staff is awesome when you eat in at the restaurant side or the bar I never ever have a complaint but for some reason and I am not the only one when you order for a carryout its only good 1 out 5 I have gotten under cooked deep fried mushrooms salad that tasted like soap cheesesteaks that was nothing on them as in the menu says with lettuce tomato and mayo but comes plain I have gotten a large pizza cut into 30 slices why the latest's was that I was checking food before I leave and no problem the last couple time well I didn't check last night and get home with 2 of there special pizza cheese one was so black and burnt on the bottom and the other was raw in the center I called back and told them im bringing my stuff back and want a refund they didn't even try to offer a replacement when I talked to the manager on duty she had no excuse for this and didn't understand what happened I have tried several times to talk to the owner and either she never gets the messages or she is ignoring a customer but this is no way to take care of problems I was going here on a average 2-3 times a month but now it was cut back to 2 -3 times every 6 months and now it may be never again I can get better pizza from dominos or pizza hut if you call...
