Came here on a Saturday night to try the pizza, based on the reviews. Most of the reviews for this place talk about the excellent food, but there are a few 1 or 2 star reviews, please pay attention to those reviews!! We didn't. Our server was a youngish female, maybe this was her first night? Idk. But it took forever to get ordered and forever to get the food. Server brought out the pizza, and set it down, no plate, no napkins, no way to serve the pizza off the pan. I had to ask for a plate, and utensils. I was given a tiny dessert plate and one napkin. Which is odd because looking around at the others in the resaurant, they were being given handfuls of napkins!! I was taking a piece of pizza and realized that the crust stayed in the pan, what? I don't even know how to explain it or how that happens. It wasn't stuck to the pan, it just wasn't attached to the cheese I guess? It looked like a piece of skin. See pics. We were never offered refills for our drinks and never given any more napkins... I have to say, I really don't like Domino's pizza, but i would eat Domino's before i would ever eat Lews pizza. The summer salad was ok.

Best burgers in the Roanoke Valley, IMHO. And the onion rings are fantastic! Edit: What a difference a couple of years makes! Worst hamburger I've eaten, possibly ever! Got my regular--the lewcifer burger--and there were more stems than peppers on the damned thing. They even added stems that weren't attached to peppers! My younger son ordered the same, and he had almost as many stems on his burger. How hard is it to cut stems off the stinking peppers? The largest stem, about 2 inches long, didn't even have a pepper attached to it! Disgusting! I won't be going back to this Lew's anytime soon.

This was my first time experience at Lews. My boyfriend has been several times before because he works close. He loves the Reuben sandwich so, he stuck with his normal and as always it didn’t disappoint. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan and it was so delicious and cheesy! The CHEESY BREAD appetizer was to die for!!! The 1/2 lb burger was juicy and the onion rings were delicious. If you are looking for some of the best fresh brewed tea this is the place to go. The service was great! I can’t wait to go back to try more food items.
