Subway — Restaurant in Virginia

Do not eat here. New people in this store. And something not right with them. In January 2023, I stopped by to get lunch-- been eating at Subway's for years, always good service --but this time would be my last in this area. Came into the store to order a foot long. The store was not busy, a female worker was working in the kitchen area busy, and two females upfront, one making sandwiches and one working the cash register. The female from the back lifted her head and dropped what she was doing upon hearing me ordering and gave me a look--never seen this woman before --but the look was not friendly and raised the hairs on the back of my neck. She brought a container with some fluids to the sandwich area and tried to hide that she had. The one making the sandwich was very nervous all of a sudden and looked like she didn't want to be there any more. The one from the back signaled the sandwich maker to use the fluids brought from the back. For what I do not know. The sandwich maker nervously dips the knife in the fluid and wipes it repeatedly on the sandwich 🤮. I was so shocked and froze. I believe they thought I couldn't see them but angled myself to see better because the sandwich maker was so nervous all of sudden and looked like she was being forced to do something wrong. I couldn't believe my eyes, I was in shock--paid for the sandwich and the cashier had a nervous falsetto voice. I went to my car to process everything and then I returned the sandwich untouched after processing what happened --my sandwich was tainted...

I go in on the regular around 6-630 in the evenings and the guys are amazing! THEY GREET YOU! Their attitudes are a pleasure to be around and the service and food is amazing. This week I went for lunch. There was one young lady working the front and all kinds of noise in the back. She kept having to go to the back, letting the line back up. She told them she needed them to get it together; Then the music came on so loud in the back she could barely hear orders and asking to repeat them over and over. Then young blonde girl came to the front, hair just hanging in over face and over the food, like why wear a hat? That really aggravated me because I waited 40 mins in that line to get lunch and her hair just hanging all over the food soon as it’s my turn. My sandwich cost was $3 more than menu price but I already spent my whole lunch waiting in line so I had to eat in my car rushing back to work. I was pissed after this...

I usually never do reviews but i needed to today. I've been eating at the plantation rd location for about a month. Food was never good my sub hard as a brick and cookies almost raw. Well i drove an extra 5 mins to the hollins location and was WOWed! Amber made the best roasted chicken sub I have ever had at subway. My bread was fresh and didn't cut the roof of my mouth from being over cooked. My cookies were also cooked to perfection. This location has never let me down in the past and I regret going to a different location. They should definitely train the plantation rd location. I will drive the extra 5 mins to go to hollins subway to see amber and her team!! Thank...
