We ordered a pizza from Marcos on rt 10 in October because my 13 year old son loved the pizza (we had ordered several others prior-we are a pizza family). There was a large plastic bread tie in the pizza, and we ended up throwing out most of that pizza. I called and explained what happened. And they offered me $10 off the next pizza. Although my son didn't want pizza from there after that experience, my wife wanted their salad in December. So we ordered. They never gave us the $10 off, and when I asked about it, the store manager wouldn't even talk to me (the poor kid who was taking care of me was very nice, but management obviously could not be bothered) . I didn't want to make a scene, and politely asked for a corporate number, and they said there was not one. When i went to the corporate site, there is no customer feedback section (at least i couldn't find it- only franchise opportunities). So it appears to be a systemic lack of customer service. Pizza is ok, as long as they make it correctly. I'm not calling to tell them that they added green peppers to my pizza when I didn't order them- I very much dislike green peppers, but I know they won't care. I guess I'll take this opportunity to give my son a lesson on why it's best to buy local, where the owner will look you in the eye. Read moreWent in for the first time this week and was very disappointed. The hype from friends made me try the one down the street from my house for a quick dinner after a long day. The food was nothing to be crazy over and the customer service was horrible. The wings weren't even sauced properly and they were just drizzled barely, just enough to see it on the surface. The pizza slices claimed you would get "12 slices" but the way it was cut was into tiny child sized pieces that weren't even close to a full 12 slices. You may as well advertise it as 6 slices and cut it to a decent proportion instead of false advertising and embarrassing your business/leading people on. As for the customer service, the guy behind the desk was very rude, defensive and aggressive even by getting asked a simple question. He wasn't professional or friendly at all and he shouldn't work with the general public with such a negative, triggered attitude. He was extremely stand offish and took a simple question as being attacked and it showed. It was a VERY uncomfortable environment and I will not be returning nor will I recommend to family and friends. Called at 11:24 to confirm everything was okay as the tracking hadn't updated. Was told by the employee that they hadn't even started making the pizza as she was waiting on the driver to come back. I questioned why it wasn't already out for delivery when I had selected for it to deliver at 11:35 and was told "they can't guarantee a time"
Makes no sense as your website literally asks.
I call again at 11:54 as my fiancé has still not received his lunch and he only gets 30 minutes. Was told the pizza was ready but they were still waiting on the driver.
The pizza arrived almost an hour late. My fiancé was already back at work.
Don't let us pick a time for delivery if you are going to be an hour late delivering. Absolutely...
