Updated review 28July18 Great pizza place. They offer many specials and lunch specials offered daily. They're conveniently located near residences and business and offer delivery. The pizza dough is made fresh daily. We've had several of their pizzas and all have been delicious. While they do offer dine in, their space is very limited. What Marco's keeps as a secret and it's not posted is that they offer a military discount of 15% off. Here's the most important part to remember. They do NOT offer the military discount on any of their specials. That's the bad part of the deal. If you truly appreciate the military, then why not give the special on everything including specials. I took away one star because no place is perfect and an additional star because I've patronized Marco's many times and never been offered the military discount, so I've lost out on some money I could have saved. Tip for the owners, please post that you offer a military discount and consider providing a military discount on anything that active duty military and veterans purchase. Review January 2018 Our night got started with the history of Marco's along with a presentation on making the pizza. They make their own dough and there's 40 pepperonis on any pepperoni pizza. As a matter of fact, this is the only chain pizza place that makes their own dough. They do their best to buy vegetables local. They do but Hanover tomatoes. The meal started with cheese sticks and later with salad and pizza, as well as dessert which was cinnamon sticks with frosting. I had chicken Florentine, pepperoni, and the deluxe which had pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, and peppers. I live down the street and hadn't tried Marco's. I was happy to be able to participate in this event. I'll be bringing my family next time.

This is the 3rd bad experience in a row and it will be our last one. Food came out 20 minutes late (which wouldn’t be a big deal if it were recognized and apologized for by the staff), I watched an employee that seemed somewhat out of it drop a pizza on the floor (photo attached) and left it there for at least 10-15 minutes (ended up being our pizza), had to tell two different people my order name multiple times over a span of 20 minutes, etc. The two people we dealt with weren’t overly rude, just severely lacked situational intelligence and provided a terrible customer experience. We started going to this Marco’s roughly 6 months ago because they have the pizza bowl and the service was great…not the case any longer and it’s unfortunate. Time to find a new local option…

If you like your food spilled all over the box this is the place for you. I called the restaurant and was hung up on. I called back and talked to the manager who claimed they couldn't give me a refund, only store credit and they couldn't even do that until the driver arrived back at the store. They were supposed to call me when the driver arrived but that never happened. This place is a joke. Go to any other pizza place but here.

A few years ago I met the young couple that opened some of the Marco's franchises in the area. It was at a Chamber of Commerce meeting in Chesterfield, of which at the time I was a member. I always wish the best for any entrepreneur and the restaurant business is a tough one. In the beginning I found their pizza's to be pretty good. There was a delivery hiccup once, and the aforementioned owner showed up later at my doorstep with an apology and a few free pizza coupons. I was impressed! Lately, however, the quality of the product has begun to suffer. This could be due to my taste, in that I like sauce on my pizza. I know I am out of step with the rest of America because it seems most like a lot of cheese on the pizza, inside the crust of the pizza, and sauce is an afterthought. I wanted a pizza from another franchise but my daughter insisted on Marco's. After we were done dining my daughter (and wife, and son) admitted I wasn't that good and from here on out we would order some place else. I would also mention that when I do get a Marco's pizza they are never cooked all the way through. I know I have to start the oven before I leave to go pick it up, then throw it in to get the crust crisp. I am not sure if the same young couple owns this unit, but I would love to see them make some tweaks and get the product back up to snuff. They...

Called in to say the update of the app saying ā€œdeliveredā€ was incorrect and the manager cut my husband off saying it’s on its way with no explanation. After receiving our pizza 30+ min late and it super cold my husband called back to speak to a manager. Without hesitation she raised her voice to him and then when he had the same reaction back to her she decided to hang up on him. Simple as this, I don’t care if you’re short staffed or you are frustrated… if you send food that was paid for and it’s not to the quality of what it should be you need to have some kind of patience or consideration for your customers. At least give your customers a call (or say it when we call in to check) and explain to them the delivery time will be extended and offer some kind of discount or chance to just cancel it. Instead we have kids with delayed bedtimes and quite honestly a very frustrating situation. I had to call back and she STILL spoke over me despite me just trying to say calmly that we deserved a refund. Maybe she’s trying to make an example for her employees of being the ā€œbossā€ but in the real world thats not okay and she should not be a manager! I’ve worked food service and customer service… there’s absolutely no reason for...
