While Visiting I went in to get Breakfast and was surprised they had what I get back home A Steak, Egg And Cheese Bagel, asked for it to be free of onions(Alergy) and asked they make fresh off the grill not scrape onions off, the cashier assured me she would tell kitchen staff, however while finishing my order a woman walked in wearing street clothes and just started speaking to cashier like I wasn't standing there, she must have realized my dismayed look and said she was GM and asked why I had look on my face and I advised because I was about to ask why she was interrupting me placing my order, she smiled and we sorta joked about she tried to explain onions are separated and not in tray with pre-made Steak Patties, but understood my request. I order same thing 4 days a week in my home area same way. So As I Am Accostomed to having to wait a little longer, I stood to side they prepared first order and after awhile 3 different staff asked what I was still waiting for and I advised and showed paid receipt, after a 4th person asked grill person were they "Holding" On Steaks He Replied Aggressively It's already made, out of habit I look at sandwich and one side is burned, so I show staff and they request remake, after a few moments I get another sandwich worse than the first, Show staff and they tell grill person who proceeds to curse me saying "F You", some other Curses, And Tells Go Make My Own "F'ing" Steak, I was appalled and dismayed, there are kids and other customers there (Breakfast Rush 08:30), and I recalled GM was There and to my surprise she tells me I need to calm down because I speak in a authoritative voice, I was shocked and asked her was she kidding I never cursed, I was simply voicing my concerns, she tells me I needed to speak "Softer" because she had other customers with kids, this is like 5-6 minutes after A McDonald's employee cursed me from Grill Area, Needless to say I asked for refund, asked for owners information never given, however there was email on bottom of receipt, and I sent email, not sure if I will get a response, If Less Than A Star Was Possible They Would Not Deserve That..... I went 15minutes to another McDonald's and got food not burned and didn't get berated or disrespected. The Location 22 Broad...
Read moreI don't frequent this location often, mainly when I am headed close by to get on 64 West. I decided to go Sat. morning and realized that I forgot how bad this location had been in the past. I placed my order on the phone app and paid in advance. There was one car at the drive through speaker. I heard the attendant say "I will be with you in a minute". After sitting for 7 minutes in line and the car in front of my not ordering yet I decided to change my order to "curbside" delivery. I pulled in front and informed them I was there via the app.
The entire time I am waiting there is an employee yelling at someone on his personnel phone in the parking lot with some very colorful language to whomever he was talking with. After about 10 minutes my wife decides to go in and see what is taking so long. I ordered an Egg Mcmuffin, sausage burrito and Ice Tea. Should be pretty simple.
They let my wife in but apparently the lobby was closed. The girl behind the counter said "she was the only one there" and that's why it took so long. She then told her that the were "out of sausage burrito's" so she gave me a cherry pie instead. My wife asked if it was possible to get another Egg Mcmuffin and she was told "I can't do that, I have to give you something of equal or less value". Now I have been waiting for about 20 minutes for a simple order that I placed in advance and you can't comp the extra $1.50 or whatever is is for the item you don't have? Please, Chick-Fila would have comped my entire order. I don't really care about the cost but did not want a cherry pie for breakfast and didn't want to wait another 20 minutes to place another order.
I have learned my lesson now as this is probably the fourth bad experience I have had at this location and no positive ones. I would rather just go around the corner to the gas station to get my...
Read moreMy Aunt & I stopped by after 3:00pm for a late lunch, on a recent Monday afternoon. Overall, I was pleased with the experience, though I found the ordering process a bit confusing. Currently, McDonald's is featuring their 2 for $2.50 promotion, this location had the menu options for this promotion pasted to the countertop, while other menu options were displayed on video screens mounted on the wall above the cashier. While very friendly, I found the cashier's explanation as to what items were & were not included on the promotion confusing. My Aunt inquired about the availability of the Dollar Menu, and was told it was no longer available. I ordered 2 double cheeseburgers & a small fry, and my Aunt had a chicken sandwich & small fry from the promotional menu. We each had a small beverage, which were an additional charge, as was my small fry. The bill total came to $8.00 + change. The wait for our order was acceptable, taking about 4 mins. at most. We seated ourselves at a booth in the dining area, which I found to be clean & orderly, video screens were tuned to one of the cable news channels. Overall, the food was warm, appeared to be freshly cooked, & tasted okay. I will say that I was pleased with the handicap accessibility of the restaurant. My Aunt, who has a respiratory ailment & requires oxygen therapy, was able to navigate entering, exiting, & being seated in the restaurant with little difficulty, despite having to bring a large oxygen tank & a rolling caddy in with her. With her permit, I was able to park right outside the front door, a real convenience for me. The location of the restaurant was a very convenient stop for us, on our way back to her home in Goochland Co. There are few other fast food outlets to choose from in the Manakin Sabot area...
