Although I'm typically reluctant to leave negative reviews, the decline in service at this McDonald's compels me to share my experience. Residing just around the corner, my family has been frequenting this establishment weekly for nearly five years. Regrettably, the quality and efficiency have noticeably deteriorated over time.
Each visit feels like a step back in terms of service and value. The once swift drive-thru experience now raises doubts about the term 'fast food.' It's neither fast nor economical, leaving one to ponder alternatives for better value and service.
Staff turnover appears to be a recurring issue, reflected in the lack of customer-centricity among some employees. Understandably, their demeanor often matches the challenges they face.
Moreover, the recent parking lot redesign, with its two-lane menu, seems more symbolic than functional, given the perpetual closure of the second lanez or people not responding when you pull up to the menu. The previous layout worked just fine, rendering this change perplexing and ineffective.
Consistency remains elusive, evident in the haphazard packaging of orders. From multiple bags to cramming everything into one, each visit presents a new surprise. At times, we've even been handed bags to pack our own orders—a peculiar experience, to say the least.
In conclusion, while it pains me to express dissatisfaction, honesty compels me to caution others. It's time for this McDonald's to reclaim its former glory or risk losing loyal patrons...
Read moreGoing to this McDonalds is truly a unique experience. It has the best food of any McDonalds in the Richmond and surrounding area, but the worst service and meanest manager you'll ever meet. If you can wait for 20 minutes after ordering and paying for food, you can enjoy some of the best McDonalds food you'll ever find. If you find that waiting 20 minutes for a burger and fries is too long and you want to stop waiting and go somewhere else, you can politely ask for your money back but get ready because the meanest McDonalds manager you ever met is going to come at you like Mike Tyson and tell you that it's your fault the food is taking too long because either you ordered at peak hours and they are too busy, or you ordered when they were slow and they weren't ready, but either way, she'll make sure you know it's your fault instead of giving you you're money back. If you thank her for her feedback and still ask for your money back, she'll shove a receipt in your face and ask if they got your order wrong, you can let her know that the order is correct but that you're tired of waiting and she'll go back to blaming you for the wait. It's a lot of fun but like I said, if you can survive the wait, the food is great. I've gone through this multiple times because the McDonalds is right down the road...
Read moreIs it really that difficult to find employees with good work ethics and treat other human beings with respect? Or is the warm body mentality the new trend? Total disrespect from a young woman at drive thru when I only asked about whether or not 2 items were available. She was snippy, rude and then chose to ignore me. I was not reactive to her so merely continued through drive to pick up what I already ordered. I do remember her nails at 1st window because they had gummy bears glued on them.
2nd window employee, young man, barely spoke at all, handed me the food and drink. No napkins inside, didn't ask if we wanted ketchup, food on verge of being cold and for the 1st time in a very long time, the wait was not long at all. So how can the food be cold at 5pm??
This location is prime but the service and staff are not. It's been this way for years. With Burger King sadly gone because their burgers are just better, Arby's on the more expensive side and Taco Bell, well it is what is, you'd think this McDonald's would be on their A game. I hope whatever establishment is moving in next door, gives this McDonald's a reason to finally close up and lock...
